Ok, new question for you all!

I know this wouldn't happen, but let's say hypothetically that DA3 gave us npc romances options as well as companion love interests. If Cullen didn't make it into a companion/LI role and was available to be romanced as an npc, BUT the romance for npcs were incredibly lacklustre and empty compared to the companion romance arcs, would you still pick him over the companion options on offer?

I think I'd romance Cullen first, then in subsquent playthroughs test out all the other available romances options (both npc and companion ones) and then for my final canon playthrough to be imported into DA4 I'd pick Cullen, even if his romance arc was utter bollocks, simply because I've been waiting to get my hands on him for 2 games already and I feel like the poor guy really needs some affection in his life.

Spades:
Ace- Arishok
King - Orsino
Queen - Meredith
Page - Rock Wraith. ROCK WRAITH ?? wtf Bioware, that is the place for Cullen, the darkspawn are on another suit

I'd probably watch the Cullen crap romance on YT and not bother with it in game. Says nothing about my love for Cullen; I just wouldn't want to waste my time on a crap romance that would seem more like an insult to us fans than anything else. I wouldn't settle for a bad side-romance no matter who the character is... Cullen, Alain, Nathaniel, Sebastian, no one!

Okay, including darkspawn in lieu of actual characters? That is stupid! Cullen, Sister Petrice, Marethari ... I could think of a million "minor" characters who are more interesting than random DARKSPAWN.

LOL I didn't even notice that. Weird. And the scratch marks on him, and the ... oddly detailed naughty bits of their anatomy. It's like a still shot from a porn. The focus is really on their naughty bits. Weird what some folks are into xD

LOL Lola, YOU've posted that one before. It's one of hyperbali's Jeanne Amell and Cullen. She's acknowledged that the anatomy is a bit off.

There's no question that I would try it, and try it first. Sebastian's romance was lacking in many ways, and I still found it worth it because I really like that character.
