Naw, I'm looking forward to seeing it's grandeur, plus I wanna go to a really pompous Orlesian masquerade ball!

Yeah, you know, looking around I am reminded that I went looking for it before and couldn't find it then either. I found reference to it in a year-old thread and a nine-month old thread on the DA2 forums saying, "they've stated that they're staying with the DA2 art style." But no links or quotes to a dev saying so. So... it's definitely old; I wouldn't be surprised if it was something they said in response to general criticism of DA2 (e.g. 'we like it! we're stickin' with it!') as opposed to anything specifically about DA3.LolaLei wrote...

Oh, gosh, no. Honestly, I think I first heard it from you, Lola, so I think it was really early on. Like, that first DA3 thread where they answered some questions. The other place I was thinking we heard it later on was perhaps a, erm, private communication to you...?LolaLei wrote...
R2: Do you recall one of the devs saying that DA3 will be keeping DA2's art style? Can you remember where that was posted in the forum, cos they're looking for it in the Twitter thread.
I think I read it in one of the DA2 threads, I can't remember which dev wrote it though. :-S

I love every possible thing about that picture, especially the brown leather shorts and the bizarre expression on his face! Fierce!

The White Spire will be a v large structure as it is one of the few buildings that can be seen anywhere in the city (the other being the palace). It does look an imposing building from the illustration. I thought it was supposed to be white but not sure if it was the magic that made it white (and by DA3 the mages would have left).
Found this part in the text. Apparently they light up the tower at night to make it look like a silver sword of the Maker. So... unless they're running low on magic to run the tower, I now think it's unlikely that's the White Spire. Oh well.

It's at the bottom of my list of "interesting" places to visit in Thedas with Tevinter Imperium being at the top for me. However, it's not like I know how Bioware will make Orlais, so it can still be very "interesting". I'm just saying based on what we know, I don't find it an attractive location.

FURRY turtle shoulder guards! I don't think anything will beat that set of Ferelden battle shorts armor, other than dressing him in mage gear with the fugly mage hat.

Ooh we should make lists like this
1. Orlais
2. Tevinter Imperium
3. Anderfels
4. Par Vallon (sp?)
5. Nevarra
6. Antiva
7. Seheron
8. Rivain
This is nation wise as I imagine places like the Dales, Kal-Sharok and such would be involved in specific countries i.e. Orzammar/Ferelden. This is also assuming we don't return to the Free Marches and Ferelden except for a short prologue.
I kind of forced 4-8 as I really just want to see the first three. If I see the others it'd be cool but I wouldn't be dissapointed if I didn't know what I mean?

Same here xD I'm more interested in the places we know oh so little about, like the Anderfels or Navarre.

Ok, new question for you all!
I know this wouldn't happen, but let's say hypothetically that DA3 gave us npc romances options as well as companion love interests. If Cullen didn't make it into a companion/LI role and was available to be romanced as an npc, BUT the romance for npcs were incredibly lacklustre and empty compared to the companion romance arcs, would you still pick him over the companion options on offer?
I think I'd romance Cullen first, then in subsquent playthroughs test out all the other available romances options (both npc and companion ones) and then for my final canon playthrough to be imported into DA4 I'd pick Cullen, even if his romance arc was utter bollocks, simply because I've been waiting to get my hands on him for 2 games already and I feel like the poor guy really needs some affection in his life.
I like NPC romances because they offer more options and for whatever reason I might just not like any of the romances in the game, but more often than not they are a little...um, less than par know what I mean? Not necessarily bad, but I'm missing more if I choose one of them as opposed to the "main" romances. Thats what I think anyway.
I always want the most out of my experience which is why I try to find out the "canon" behind the canon for BioWare.

I don't usually like mobile games but this little game is a gem. Recommend it to everyone.
Wha, they have an Infinity Blade 2? I bought it instantly! Looks waaaaaaay better than the other game. I never realized core games like this existed on tablets...
