What would a pregnant woman and better yet a baby look like in Dragon Age? I don't think we've had those kind of....models/skeletons, in the game yet.
Especially if the character is seen throughout the entire pregnancy. I mean they'd need non-pregnant, 2 months, 4months, 7months, etc. And wouldn't a companion then need the whole of their character focused on that? I like the idea, even though it was supposedly a troll thread, but putting it into effect in a 3D format seems.....excessive.

Tell ya what I'd like? For the kids in DA3 to actually sound like kids and not like a man with a really irritating voice!

Only "kid" that confused me was Walter. And Cricket was supposed to be 15?..
Weird.

I truly don't even want to think about body types in game. Like R2 pointed out... fantasy RPG setting. Let me just lose myself in a good story that allows me to occasionally kill something. Meanwhile, that particular Cullen pic always makes me giggle. Looks like he's sizing up your sweater meat. LOL (Cuz that's not sexist at all! Derp!)
OMG, meanie, now I can't NOT see that!! Cullen having his "Tune in Tokyo" moment?? D'oh!! Thanks for that...

Yeah, I didn't realize that was a troll thread, since I don't keep tabs on who's saying what anymore in DA3-forum-land. But, in practice, yeah, I think a pregnant character would end up being ALL about the pregnancy, which is perhaps too hard to do right. Also, many good points in that thread about how time passes. I'd hate for me or one of my companions to have to be sidelined for the good stuff. But, if the pregnancy were part of a possible endgame, where you dealt with just the issues/ideas of the pregnancy but not too much of the advanced physical stuff, that would probably be better.Danny Boy 7 wrote...

Maybe most people are of thought they'll fall off the planet if they sailed so far like here, once upon a time?
Either way, if there is a Dragon Age equivalent of Asia, I'd love to check it out.

Agree, it does make sense. I guess I'd seen him talk about this notion that Thedas is "all there is," just since its people would only know that, but I've now since found other quotes where he's very clearly talked on other occasions that Thedas really is just a continent. Guess I just haven't being paying attention! LOLBatteries wrote...

Hear Hear!!
Oh god please don't put pregnant people in the games lol I have enough babies flying at me every time I open FB.
Thedas was never all there is because the qunari people came from somewhere not-Thedas. (right?)
Also let's not have console players versus PC players arguments in this thread...
And no mentioning of The W-game *facepalm* So sick of hearing about that darn game!!!
The DA3 forum is just full of poison. People are bored and so they're trolling or attacking each other outright. I pop in once or twice to troll the Neanderthals. The boredom has gotten even to me!

I think there is mention of both the human and qunari homelands, but exploration isn't necesarilly at the forefront of Thedosian thought.

Oooooh.... I'm not sure if I've seen this! LOL Or maybe I just forgot! It looks like DG answered some additional DAIII questions following the PAX panel last year. Of course, a lot of this he and the devs have talked about since... but it's interesting to look back, given that context. Particularly hints like how we WILL find out what the GWs were up to in DA2, or that we just might see some of the Asunder characters.
Oooo! I'd never seen any of that before!

At least in Dragon Age I know I don't ever have to go on a hunt for my companions. (exclude witch hunt and the unintended pun lol)

Oh what's so hilarious is that woman in Whiterun who says to my guy, "You look like the marrying type. I hope you treat your wife well." And I just picture Vilkas all barefoot and pregnant and laugh maniacally.
