Oooh, excited about the hair refs. Laughing about the monkey refs, since now we know what the monkey farms are. LOL

On Dairsmuid, yeah, it's really sad. I get the impression that whoever the templars were at the Circle itself were complicit this idealized, Rivaini version of a Circle. So, if the Seekers come to investigate, I would expect they probably wiped out the complicit templars as well, so needed others to do the job.

I think that the set up of the Circle in Dairsmuid sounded good compared to the other circles (no hints of repression, a bit more freedom ...). The Right of Annulment sounds horrific and if this is the state of Thedas at the beginning of DA3, my protagonist is going into battle pro-mage!

I am liking the hints about the hair. I hope there's good hair in this game! I want to see flowing locks!

It makes me wonder if we'll be encouraged to be more pro-mage in terms of the rebelled Templars being a bunch of jerks lol.

I wonder what "ray casting" does? Presumably that's a combat move since the combat team are currently showing their bits 'n' pieces.

I've been pro-Mage since the first game.

Not because the Templars are evil, just that they are seriously flawed. If Dairsmund is any indication, if you have a Circle without draconian laws, built of mutual respect and compromise, the system actually works!

If we can get Lady of the Forest hair, DA3 will be awesome!

Maybe it's a move that involves blasting out heat rays or something.  But when I think of rays, I kind of think of lasers and that maybe it would be better suited in ME!

LOL I was going to go even geekier and say that it sound like ray tracing to me, which is just a technical process of tracing where you expect light to go when bouncing off/through certain surfaces.

They mentioned something about combat music earlier, I'm wondering if maybe they've already found a new composer... unless they've just put in some temp music or something?

It has been a while since I have been on the DA forums ever since DA2 came out I have stayed away, I even swore that I wouldn't get DA3 on release.....but if Cullen is an LI or companion (rather him be both) I know, without a doubt, I will pre-order this..... just for this very reason.

Plus I have been looking over the threads and noticed an awful lot of comments and posts, friendly, from the Bioware team..... it's slightly restoring hope. I don't even know why I came back to the DA forums, but honestly I am glad I did.

OP, love that this page exists I am glad to know that I am not alone hoping Cullen is an LI companion. Crossing my fingers!!!

Haha thank you :)  All is well in the world when you have Alistair and Kaidan to choose from (hopefully Cullen will enter that sentence soon ;) )

I have a LOT of reading to do in this forum, hahaha, its been awhile but so far it has been an excellent read! Looking forward to the forums when the game is near its release date, love the atmosphere of the forums at that time.   <3
