Mage: So you could have made a mistake?

Cullen: Gregoir would have guided me... something must happen. But, what if it's not obvious? Could abominations be walking among us right now?

Mage: I am sure there are no abominations here.

Cullen: This is still new to me. Maybe one day i'll be as dedicated and driven as Knight Commander Gregoir.

Mage: He is a very dedicated man, yes.

Cullen: You must be busy, perhaps we can talk another time.


So, it appears he's equally as unsure of himself if you play as a male Mage too except he reveals more about his concerns. Poor old thing.

You know, this doesn't make him seem creepy at all. Just... young. And with a bad case of Greagoir hero worship. LOL So cute.

Also, the part: "It is my duty. Some Templars I know discuss it with glee, I don't share
their enthusiasm. I try to serve the Maker first and foremost, as long
as I am guided by his commandments I cannot go wrong. "

He's already acknowledging that he tries to follow what he believes the Maker and Andraste intended, not necessarily what the templars do or expect. I think this part of his character remains into DA2, even if he loses sight of it a bit with his PTSD.

I dunno... You can see the center of his chest so it seems you should the navel too. But that's me. This guy here looks closer to Cullen but I think his face needs to be a smidgen longer and narrower, forehead less broad and more rounded - both in hairline and depth - and his jaw should be less angled. The nose is a little too narrow and the cheekbones aren't quite pronounced enough (whereas leisure suit dude had ridiculously too much cheek). What this guy DOES have are Cullen's eyes! I'm lovin' those. Otherwise, he looks more like a younger brother to me. Still hot though.

I bet he'd look gorgeous with longer hair, the curls would loosen into waves like those sterotypical blonde surfer guys. I know they wouldn't change his hair cut because it's his "signature look" but if they do, they should totally give him surfer hair.

Yeah, I agree, the faces are not quite right. But the look in that one's eyes... yup, right on! And, re: bellybuttons... :shrug: who knows. I think his torso isn't straight up and down, so we're not seeing the center of his stomach.

And, yes, folks, we've devolved into discussing individual Cullen bodyparts! Yup, is there any wonder the devs don't chime in? LMAO :P

Um yeah, back to  your regularly scheduled lore and/or deep philosophical character deconstruction.

OH and yeah, I like the long surfer hair idea.

And, Lola, that hair pic is hilarious!! I love it. I keep trying to picture some celebrity who has the hair I imagine for him. I dated a guy in college with these amazing shoulder length long ringlets of hair, but alas can't find anything close. Sorta like this.. but blonde. And, more curly.

My dad said it was for me that his band was playing it that night and because Brian couldn't sing the deeper register Geoff Tate has, my dad did it instead. He literally sang this to me in a bar full of people.

There is something cheesily swoon-worthy about a guy didicating a song to you in a bar. I don't know why. It could be the sh***iest song ever written but it becomes the Hallelujah Chorus as soon as you hear "This ones for you baby!".
