LOL he's BSN weary!

Still the fact that he said the character creator will be completely different is a good sign!

Its positive for the most part but I REALLY REALLY REALLY hate that last line.

I don't think Cullen looks Broken.  :pinched:

the last part just offends me a tad because you can't really fix people that are broken , they have to fix themselves.

And like I said Cullen does NOT look or act broken

I like what it says, I wouldn't use the word "broken" though when describing Cullen and I agree with you. No one can "fix" another person, people have to fix themselves. I would say...there's a part of him that is deeply torn and conflicted about mages and the role Templars play, even if it's not always obvious in DA2, especially after what happened in DAO. He's a strong person, but I sense that he hasn't dealt with what happened well and this is something he needs to do. My feeling is that deep down he does have a strong sympathy for Mages, it's quite obvious in the Mage Origin in DAO, but after what happens that gets pushed down and distorted by pain. Who wouldn't be after what he went through? Like I said, I don't think he's broken, just conflicted and torn, a part of him held back by what happened in the past.

I understand ;)  I just like giving hell.  CC is on one hand a pretty powerful tool for RPG's, since its all about a "role" as wells as making a character you envision playing. But if they have done pretty well with it already ( I think they have) but I am on a PC and love my mods. Meh, I still sort of see it as one of those things that is dwarfed in comparision to other issues that was had with DA2. But that is just me.... an insignificant soul amongst the craziness that is.... the BSN.

After playing through the MotA dlc yesterday, I've come to the conclusion that we're probably gonna need subtitles on when we visit Orlais! Some of the accents made it quite hard catch what they'd said and I'm used to socialising with French people, so I can only imagine how difficult it must be for some people lol!

I wonder if our protagonist will have an Orlesian accent? I think that would be pretty awesome!

I think the poor guy just needs a few friends and someone to care for him. The "head mess" is something he's clearly more than capable of solving himself, but the added bonus of a friend or romance to look out for him would no doubt comfort him in this darker moments.

Mostly I think I just wanna cut the guy some slack and give him a little happiness (no matter how fleeting) in his miserable life. The guy hasn't cracked a proper smile in either game yet!

I concur! I have a feeling he hasn't a good friend for many years...hypothetically if he turns out to be a companion but not a romance option, I'm still interested in simply a friendship with him. I like to be there for my companions/squad in games :) ...and Cullen, he totally needs a hug! ^_^:kissing:

Me too, I can't be horrible to them. Especially since each one is putting their arse on the line by helping out the protagonist when they could just as easily tell him/her to bugger off.

Same here. Even if I don't particularly like them or agree with what they believe and such, I always try to find a way to at least listen to what they say and be somewhat supportive without being a jerk about it, as much as the dialogue/actions allow me to.

It's probably be in the summer. At least, we only have to wait for 9 more months until the game is released.

For the Citadel dlc? Very much so, except I can't play it tomorrow cos I have no money for the next week or so lol. But it's ok because today I was surprise gifted two signed photos of male Commander Shepard (Mark Meer) and Samara/Morinth's face model!

Soooo apparently there's rumours going around of a possible DA3 next gen reveal tomorrow in some gaming magazine. Probably not gonna be DA3, but I guess we should keep an ear to the ground, just on the off chance.

At this point I think some fans are so desperate for news that they're grasping at any straws they can find...still, anything is possible, and if it turns out to be DA3...then it'll be party time!  :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Does anyone else think it's super weird that we have a release date and an official message board out for a game that hasn't been officially revealed yet?

Is that the business, or is that just Bioware?

(BTW, welcome back, battlebloodmage!!)

DG said that their hand was forced after the two BioWare founders left. They knew people would start speculating about BW's downfall, so they released info to put people's minds at rest and quash rumours.

In the official statement Mark Darrah also mentioned about leaked info from the survey leak (and probably Greg Ellis), so I guess that's why we have the official announcement, the forum, but no details lol.

Not recently, she said she was super swamped with work a little while back, so I guess that's where she's disappeared to?

Well, at least she picked a good time to be gone. There hasn't been much to talk about. :/
