Aghghg discovered I have no internet at home and it won't be fixed (hopefully) until tomorrow. So I won't be annoying and be all "What'd I miss?!" but if you guys said something or asked me something, might wanna repeat cause I probably missed it

Yeah, I think that's as good a plan as any. I also would expect the devs to create his new DA3 thread if he's a companion. If he's not... then we'll probably have to make our own over on the DA3 Companion/NPCs forums. It would be nice to be able to create a "proper" fan thread, like this one, as opposed to a random squee thread turning into one, like the first version of this thread.  In any event, I can't even imagine the craziness that the new thread will be, particularly if he's a companion, so I suppose we'll always have our home here!

The Reapers are being kind to me this week, I'm currently downloading the Citadel dlc. I thought I was gonna have to wait until next week to buy it, but I discovered I had £20 sitting in my PayPal account from a item return.

A brand new one would also be nice... I suppose the only real difference is having an OP who can control the title and ideally do stuff like post reference stuff at the beginning. That's been a slight downside to the last two, since eventually the OP disappeared.

Well, you've been around here the longest and are the most clued up on all things Cullen. I vote for you to make the official thread if/when the time comes.

LOL This has also been my concern... but realistically, so long as all you guys come to the "right" thread, then I think we'll be OK.

Of couse... that being said, last time I tried this, when the DA3 forums first started, evil!Chris locked it! LOL

LOL Oh... very well, I accept! We'll have to see how the new forums shake out. For example, would they create the companion/NPC section simultaneously with companion announcement...? What if they announce them at a trickle...? At what point do we create our own Cullen thread there...? Only when he's announced as a companion?  If he's just an NPC, we won't know until we play the game.

I'm sure we could ask the devs once the time comes if we aren't sure. Maybe we should start 2 threads... one for lovers and one for haters. LOL

That's true... I suppose if he's not a companion, we KNOW he's in it in some fashion. So we could still start a fan thread. LOL

That is a good question tho. When this thread was re-started it was specifically called a "discussion" thread, not a Fan thread, with the express purpose of inviting all discussion, pro and con. What would you guys prefer??

I personally don't mind both pro and con discussion so long as it stays civil. Therein lies the rub I suppose. A good clean fun healthy debate is one thing but history has shown (for whatever reason) many folks can't seem to be happy witha respectful back and forth when you're talking about Cullen.... which is why we're all here in Shangri La. lol

Oh. My. God.

The Citadel dlc was the most hilarious and adorable thing I've ever played! Spot on! Absolutely perfect! And Kaidan behaved like an absolute babe the entire time. 100% amazingly squee worthy!

The only downside was that it was so good, I'm depressed that ME3 ended the way it did. *Sigh* I know my Shepard survives in the destroy ending, but it's just kinda sad that we don't see Shep reunited with the crew.

Also, Grunt is the most awesome Krogan EVER!

I'd say that if he's a companion then let Evil Chris set up Cullen's thread. If he isn't then we either ask him to transfer this one over the the DA3 companion/NPC part of the forum, or start a new one the minute that part of the forum is open.

My point was that we may not know if he's a companion the minute that part of the forum opens up, since they may not have announced all the companions yet.

Don't they usually make all the companion/LI threads the minute the romance/npc part of the forum opens up? I thought they done it the day everyone gets announced?

That's what I fear because I already feel that way...

Yeah, I feel a strange mixture of happy and sad. Happy because the Citadel dlc was the perfect send off for the Mass Effect Trilogy, but sad because the ending (dispite the extended cut dlc) is kinda gutting and reopened the old wound.

... I just wish we could've had just an extra cutscene at the end of the destroy ending that showed Shepard reunited with her/his crew... or a ending that didn't included the Red/Green/Blue/God child ending. 

Aaaaaand this is why I put all my eggs in DA3's basket LOL! Gawd knows what I'm gonna be like if I don't like it. :-S

Ok, I'm not gonna spoil anything about the Citadel dlc, but everyone is already aware that Shepard acquires a new swanky apartment on the Citadel where you can interact with the companions and throw a party etc (it was mentioned in the blog about it). Anyway, when inside the apartment every now and then you end up with some (if not all) the companions in the apartment at once, chilling out in different room etc. I'm almost convinced that the DA3 castle will have the same sort of set up, but on a bigger scale because it's a castle lol.
