There are so many great Inquisition jokes. I think I'll actually be disappointed if there isn't at least one such easter egg in DA3, given how funny the BW folks have been in past with those.meanieweenie wrote...

That's what happens when they give no news.... we're all just going to wander off to the four winds, never to return. (Think guilting them into giving us info will work? lol)
It's worth a shot!
All of us will leave the Cullen thread and join the EA sports forums instead, leaving this place to deteriorate and rot under BioWare's fascist regime... and, uh, stuff.
(How am I doing? That's the sort of crap most BSN users come out with, right?)

I was thinking Alistair. To me, I was thinking it sounded like it was in the past, when he was probably first learning to "let go" of his characters, as opposed to any current characters. Alistair probably required quite a bit of writing, so might have been an engrossing character to create, plus I could see Alistair, with his puritanical upbringing, being someone his creator didn't initially want anyone to have sex with. Or it could be from some totally other game I don't know! LOLLolaLei wrote...
... Woah, ok. That was incredibly upbeat of him! I wonder which male character he's talking about? One from a previous DA/BioWare game he's worked on, or one for DA3?
That was a really nice piece, though. I'd always heard, second hand, that DG was rather antagonistic toward fanfic, and his blog entry was really the opposite. I can completely understand not being able to actually *read* fanfic, but I like his laissez faire attitude toward the creation of it. classy and articulate, as always, Ser Gaider!

What information about DA3 would you want to know ahead of time, for example combat, companions etc. And what information would you prefer not to be disclosed so that you can experience it for the first time within the game.
The main thing I want to know about DA3 is what our protagonist's name is and what his/her default appearance will look like. I also wouldn't mind knowing how a mage class would end up within the Inquisition (if we're part of it at all), but I'm not sure that could explained without spoiling the story? Although, if that part of the survey leak is still correct then I guess we kinda already know the basic outline of it.
Aside from that, I wouldn't mind seeing a few screen shots of the in-game enviroments, and I guess I wanna know who the companions are, but that's only really so that I can get a definite yes or no confirmation of Cullen's inclusion as a companion/LI... although, at the same time I kinda don't wanna know because if it is a no, then I'm gonna be really disappointed and if it's a yes then I like the idea of being surprised when we do finally get to recruit him.
What about you guys?

Yeah, I'd heard that too. I guess there's something to be said for believing everything you hear in the BSN!

But as a writer of my own original fiction (and one who hopes fruitlessly to publish some day) I understand how he feels about fanfiction and agree 100% with him.
