In a dialogue he mentions his minor obsession with his hair and an unholy love of fine cheeses.
Just kinda went from there ;D
Oh really, that's it?! Wow, I mean I've even seen devs mention it LOL That's funny, from such a minor dialogue. But it's so Alistair!

LOL Right, that's the line! It's after he tells you about being a Prince. You can ask him if he's hiding anything else, and he says other than the above (hair, cheese), no nothing else. Just the prince thing.motomotogirl wrote...

yeah, I was always puzzled as to why I'd never saw an actual cheese obsession. Another I only learned about from the fandom was Sten and cookies. I could never ever click with Sten, so I guess I never got that far with him. LOL

His character is truly unforgettable, even his minor lines were epic.<3

I didn't use Sten a lot in my first play through, but I am currently because he compliments Shale so well. He admitted there's not much he likes about Ferelden except the cookies. And he gives Ser Carroll his cookies so the Warden can cross the lake to the circle. What a sacrifice!

Now Zevran, that's another story..
It took me a while until I figured out you had to talk to him outside the party camp for some of his conversations to trigger.
After playing DAO so many times I really have to plan out and mircomanage the conversations for everyone.

I never really have figured out what the appropriate response is to his tales from the past. He doesn't want pity, but he doesn't want to be teased about it ("No boots for Zevran" you would think would earn him approval because it's charming and teasing, but he doesn't like that rsponse).

It takes so much longer to get him to 'care' status as compared to Alistair (my wardens tend to go down more of a good/paragon route).

I feel like this is the longest we've gone without any information since they first hinted at DA3 during PAX East last year.
This is kind of a good thing (not so much for my sanity) They were pushing DA II to come out super quickly, hence the small amount of time between the last DA:Origins add on and the sequel announcement. I really want this game to just blow away all my expectations. They can take all the time they need to create the best continuation possible, even if I'll be rocking in a fetal position and pulling out my hair by the time of release

True, although I am wonder if they've gone completely silent because they're planning a reveal within the next month. My guess is that it won't be until after The World of Thedas release though.

Then the big reveals, such as who the companions are, will come in the Fall.

Its painful!!!! I will be busy at home the next few weeks so hopefully it will fly by and then maybe we will get a little juicy morsel to nurse until a reveal? maybe? I hate not having a computer for more than a few hours!

"The future of the Circle of Magi, and indeed, all mages in Thedas, is uncertain. The Circle, templars and Chantry are all at odds after a series of blood mage-templar conflicts that led to many templars and Seekers severing ties with the Chantry in 9:40 Dragon. Loyalties are also split within mage leadership, as some support the Circle system while others support mage independence."
So we mentioned this before, but now I have the text to back it up, that there are still templars who support the Chantry just as there are still mages who support the Circle system. Fun times!

So she is dead? really? hmm kind of thought she would enter back into the story line somehow. What about the ogb? hehehe

She'd only be dead if you killed her in that Witch Hunt dlc. Otherwise, she went through the mirror... though tbh, I doubt she died even if you stabbed her.
