So she is dead? really? hmm kind of thought she would enter back into the story line somehow. What about the ogb? hehehe

*sigh I need to get DLC's apparently. With Origins I was really new to the whole BSN thing so when it came out I didn't really know about it. Then I discovered ME and finally figured it out but by the time I got around to it, DA2 came out. I have been meaning to do it, since I love Origins, but haven't had the time!

Well, I can't speak for everyone's warden, of course, but my warden would search for her because they ended up having a pretty close friendship by the end of the game and my warden worries about her friends. She sorta wishes she had the option to track down Zevran's arse too, because seriously, that boy gets into trouble way to easily and she'd like to know what he's up to.

That too lol. I actually quite liked Witch Hunt cos I got to revisit the Circle and try to set alight those two gossiping apprentices for talking trash about Cullen.

let's see, the pics above are all from the soon to be released Dragon Age: World of Thedas, which is an encyclopedia. Search for it on amazon, and click on look inside and then surprise me and you can see some sampling of pages for free. It comes out on Apr 16.Demarco09 wrote...
@ R2 where are you getting these? And where is things like Asunder and stuff? I really want to read it but don't really know where to go.
as for Asunder, it's the third novel written by David Gaider as a companion to the games. Amazon has it, for example, or maybe your library? The first book, Stolen Throne, is a prequel to DA:O, about King Maric and Loghain. Second, the Calling is essentially a prequel to the D:O expansion, Awakenings, about the Architect and Maric. Asunder takes place just after DA2, around 9:39-9:40. Sorry if you know all that!
Then, there are also comics. The most recent ones are available from Dark Horse.

Hmmm looks like I must take a trip to Amazon. I am just finishing up Game of Thrones, so this will probably be my next buy then. Thanks for letting me know!

That's something I wonder, what made them change Cullen's fate from **** Knight Commander/crazed mage killer on the run to recovering at Greenfell? How long after DA:O was Witch Hunt made?
This is why I need the books, I hate being the one to ask these questions. I second Lola's question!

yeah... I actually had lots and lots of reasons for tracking her down, as my Warden was concerned about random heirs to the throne running around, as well as how her friend was faring as a single mom. All that. As a player... Why did I play Witch Hunt?? LOL You do a whole lot of not finding Morrigan in it, until the last 2minutes or so.motomotogirl wrote...

One thing I like is that they seemed to have started DA2 development by then, so they start to hint about the next game. Like that's where we find out that Cullen got sent to the Chantry in Greenfell to recooperate, instead of going crazy or becoming K-C.

The books don't answer that one, unfortunately. But it's mentioned in the Witch Hunt dlc when the two apprentices start gossiping (the same ones that were gossiping about Cullen/Warden in the mage origin).

LOL guess I'm zoning in on your brainwaves. Like I said, they were developing DA2 when they did witch hunt, so besides Cullen's retcon, there are other refs to DA2... I can't remember them now, tho. I think someone mentions Kirkwall?
Well, originally the Knight Captain of Kirkwall was some balding old dude. So maybe they thought "bugger it, we need a some more familar faces. Rather than make it a random encounter let's make Cullen the Knight Captain instead!" And the rest is history!
It's like he's the npc that keeps managing to creep his way back into the game lol.

Well he's definitely ripe for the picking, and Gaider did say he liked what his story represented. I can't think of a better time to introduce him as a companion/LI given the current situation occuring in Thedas.

i'm sure the thought process was something like that... Although the old dude could have just been a stand in while they translated Cullen's model for the new game.LolaLei wrote...

Maybe, although we don't run into the Knight Captain until closer towards the end of Act 1 so I dunno.

Come to think of it... It also makes me wonder at what point they did that making of video for DotS. Was the video old? if not, then Why show us old footage? Perhaps it was old promo footage where they used the old dude as a red herring instead of reveal an old favorite.
