I once exited a building and had Sten, Morrigan, and my male elf Warden all standing in the same spot.

Zevran was probably slightly turned on by it.

I LOL'd!!

Zev's a peach. How does one person manage to be so predictable, yet so refreshing?  Posted Image

Fenris: "You've given me much to think on. It had never occurred to me that the plight of slaves elsewhere in Thedas might be even worse. I... will try to keep this in perspective. Thank you, Hawke. You're a true friend."

So a Zev question

I've only romanced Zev as another elf, but I do remember him saying he has never had the pleasure of being with "the stout folk".
If you 'mance him as a dwarf, does he remark upon this? I am curious.

Hmm... I've never managed to fully romance Zev, but I have been hankering for a new playthrough so I could give this a try (and resist Alistair somehow). That's interesting!

I do know that if you romance Alistair as a dwarf you have the opportunity to be insecure about being a dwarf and say something like "you love me even though I'm... a dwarf?" -- and he responds with "especially because of that!" Which I thought was adorable. And which also makes me feel just a twinge weird when I romance him as anything else. But his dad had a big thing for elves, so who knows?

I had one city elf that turned Alistair flat down after he said that. I was really trying to roleplay for once lul
She took that differently than what he (probably) meant and it crushed her tiny heart. She then went to Zev for comfort, being a fellow elf and all.
She was a fun character to play as.

Come to think of it, I think almost all my human characters go to Alistair and the others (including other humans too) go for other LIs. Not really intentional.

Then a couple that are forever alone because Sigrun, Nate and Anders wouldn't love them. :crying:

That is precious!!! Grr I really need to finish my DN playthrough. I wish I could skip half the game and just play the romance bits lol

Yeah, it was adorable!!!

I tell you, I am straight as straight get and I can't ever resist Alistair, but if I were able to, I'd try a Leliana/female dwarf combo because I could see her being ecstatically cutesy about having her own widdle dwarf girl to snuggle. LOL

Last game I did was a Casteless FemDawrf/Leliana game. I enjoyed it quite a bit, personally.
Plus it was my first (full) casteless dwarf run as well.

I'm straight, too, but I really enjoy f/f romances. FemHawke x Isabela is one of my faves <3

If Origins were shorter I'd do a FemWarden x Leliana playthrough fer shizzle lol But I can't even finish my current playthroughs, which include FemDN x Alistair and Male Surana x Alistair (modded, dur). Or the two playthroughs I JUST started recently *points to avatar, which is Dalish x Zevran, and then there's my Male HN x Zevran gahhh*

f!Hawke / Isabela is my 2nd fav pairing play through after human noble f!Warden / Alistair. I adore Isabela. I played through all of the LI's for DA:O and can say I didn't really care for Leliana's romance. She got too girly for my taste. (I don't want to know you watch me sleep and my lashes look like butterflies, thanks. Is the coffe made yet? lol)

Bwahaha. I remember convincing the hubs to romance Leliana on his Cousland playthrough. When we got to the butterfly incident he curtly informed me that he hated me. LOL

Nothing in particular, just some threads are so negative. I was reminded why I don't go on the ME board. I saw that one earlier talking about a boycott on DA3 based on EA's handling of SimCity. That's the dumbest thing I've ever read. If Bioware releases a great game, why would anyone boycott it? But really, some people on these boards seem so miserable. I'd hate to have them around me in rl. I don't like people who stand around me with a negative aura. It's a drain on life itself.

I never teased you for coming in here BYT...:P

I just wondered why you and Lola posted in here more than anywhere else and now I know why. People in here actually respect opinions and it's nice.

Yeah, it's a bright little spot on a BSN full of darkness. And it is more than a little crazy and uncalled-for the way people jump all over each other (and you, and me, and everyone).

You know things are pretty awful when those with any decency among us, and the devs themselves, have a "wow. this isn't awful yet -- hooray!" brand of surprise when things are even passingly civil.

And this is supposed to be more upbeat than the Mass Effect and Blizzard forums? *shivers*

Yeah but it is usually the same people saying the same stupid/sexist/homophobic/ignorant/trollish things. You get to recognize their names and just scroll past without even glancing at what they are saying xD

I'm not going to lie, the Blizz forums are bad. I remember Diablo 3 and all the nightmares I went through in that game. I kept visiting their forums for fixes or help. That entire forum was some PO'd people haha. I don't think I saw a single positive remark on their entire forum. So yea, I could see why someone would say it's worse over there.

Sometimes Facebook can be worse than the BSN

Which considering anonymity the BSN has over Facebook, I find this to be odd.

My facebook is full of farmville requests and (I have to say it) pointless pictures of my high school friends' toddlers. I don't care how freaking cute you think your kid is, I don't need to see what the inside of their latest dirty tissue looks like. Posted Image

Erk, nuclear bombs of baby photos.
I get more duckface self-portraits and underage relatives showing how adultz they be by spamming pictures of themselves smoking/drinking. Which is hardly any better, I suppose.

I think most everybody who has a young kid by now on mine... other people have already birthed more babies (esp. grandsons) after theirs, the novelty/favoritism has worn off. :P

This is the only place I can geek out on my games and characters. Somewhat. It's better when most the forum is in a more jolly mood instead of what we have now.

So, on topic. Cullen delivering a baby? A sight to possibly behold!
