Does anyone know if the Cullen hate thread/gay/bi offensive thread got shut down? I wonder how many of us reported it. I'm not seeing it around anymore...

I feel like we're all (everyone at the BSN, not just us Cullenites) doing a good job policing this place and letting mods know when the sickos crawl up out of the dark and post something gross.

Gaider closed it down a few days ago. I think a lot of people reported it from what I could tell.

Yea, I agree with this. I'd rather an option in DA3 to start with a complete blank slate as I said the other day. I'd like the background option of basically being a nobody who rises to prominence. The old rags to riches story.

I think that's just because not much to talk about right now. Once the information starts coming out, these boards will be flooded. That little panel they had a few months ago caused a lot of discussion. Very little info came out of it too. Most of the topics have been beaten to death.

Sort of...it wouldn't really be a choice, but because something you did via Origins or DA2 some more options are opened up if you know what I mean.

Like...take the Nature of the Beast quest. If you cured the werewolves you could be one of the survivors. The background pops up after you import/finish the list/whatever they're going to do. Not that you'd be connected to the Warden/Hawke beyond that.

I agree, though I've never seen it this quiet. I feel like people are just really aggitated because all the fun things like companion or romance threads get shot down whenever they pop up. Don't get me wrong sometimes it gets out of hand, but um, what else is there to talk about that really generates any conversation

I hope they announce it on June 2nd though...for reasons.

Like, a background where you're a complete nobody with no emotional/physical ties to anything currently happening in Thedas, so he/she wouldn't automatically have an opinion on the mage/templar war or the Orlesian civil war etc, simply because it doesn't concern them lol. Then the poor sod gets thrown into the Inquisition (for whatever reason) and we as the player would get to decide his/her feelings about things as we progress through the story.

Yea, the negativity on the forums isn't helping. I'd imagine it's a combination of that, Bioware banning more users and just a total lack of information.

Lola basically explained what a clean slate background is too lol. I'd like to have as much control as possible on defining my background.

Yeah plus I don't like the whole "You didn't play our previous game, so YOU don't GET these options, nanner nanner!" attitude lol Like in ME2 if I wanted to play a male Shep, since I didn't have an ME1 import, Kaiden dies automatically. I was so mad. And I definitely don't want to have to play all the way through Origins again just to get some particular result.
