He’s as oblivious as a truck
But when it counts
He will announce
That our Knight Captain is no lame duck
Okay I like this one a bit better

Sorta like Doctor Who? ... Or Flemeth lol.
I like to pretend that Varric was actually Hawke and that all the companions in DA2 were just the names of his weapons he used to kill the Qunari/Meredith/etc during the 10 years he was in Kirkwall lol.

I also quite like the idea that Cullen was actually Hawke and that he just came up with the name as a way to get things done in Kirkwall behind Meredith's and the Templar Orders back. Sorta like the whole Bruce Wayne/Batman thing.

oh thank goodness, at least you have headcanons, that's a start c:
also i've never really watched Doctor Who-- agraghrgafe but the idea of Varric making everything up is hilarious. And plausible.
Maybe Varric is the Maker and he just makes stuff happen for a good story. Can we get a verification from the devs on that please?
It wouldn't be the first time it was revealed that a story-teller is actually god (i'm looking at you, Supernatural.) I hope that the inquisitor has a happy ending, or at least the choice to get a happy ending. With no sudden disappearance.
Varric
please

I, personally, don't mind the disappearances and am actually quite interested in what kind of plot point they're leading to. I think what Leliana said at the end of DA II made it obvious the disappearances 'can't be just a coincidence' and that strange things are afoot!

I BET IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH FLEMETH THAT SLY FOX
I'm just a sucker for happy endings, obviously not ending with like, sunshine and double rainbows, but at least something that shows that the protagonist/companions are alive and that they still keep in contact. Even a little bit. D:
Something about going through a whole adventure with a group of people only to be separated at the end of it all makes me depressed. then opens the floodgates of fan tears
AGH EVERY DAY THAT GOES BY THAT DA:I ISN'T IN MY LIFE FEELS LIKE A WEEK. I HATE WAITING FOR GAMES I'M A REALLY IMPATIENT PERSON, MAN D;

I'm a little late to the discussion, so I might be taking the thread back to an old topic, but...

It actually looks like Morrigan is getting a proper top/bra here? That's definitely not the little string thing she had before, anyway. It just happens to be white... I think, if they're changing her string thing to a bra for real, I'd like it in a darker colour. White doesn't seem like Morrigan, I guess?
(And please tell me mages will get a flaming hand spell. That looks kind of badarse.)

Yeah seems like the only thing that might be promising is that "Unlocking Thedas" ... which I assume is just gonna be promo stuff for the World of Thedas.
It's all about the money, Lebowski ... with BW lately. Who here is tired of them talking about their comics, t-shirts, and other paraphernalia...?
I think she's just talking about the "Unlocking Thedas" portion of the Bioware activities at PAX (which Wiedzmin posted) and how it will focus on promo stuff for the "World of Thedas". Because Bio wants, you know, for the book to be... $ucce$$ful.Demarco09 wrote...

I might be misunderstanding this but are you saying that if you buy the World of Thedas it will unlock game content? Like with Legends and stuff for DA2?
