D'awww cute!

D'awww indeed. I'd hug her like those cartoony little girls that squeeze way to hard.

Don't feel bad though Brush, most of the women in my family barely break 5'3". My grandmother's 4'3" and my cousin is an inch shorter.

LOL, I don't think she wants to be hugged... unless it's by her husband, to be fair he is pretty hot!

I will resist <_<

I have to agree though I tend to make characters look like myself when playing the first playthrough, but with ME I can't make characters look good LOL ME3's default was probably the best looking female default to date, but I don't like red hair. *braces for the backslash* And all the male guys I make are horrible looking lol so I just stick with default. DA is a little different though, I can make better looking characters with Mods. Thank goodness for mods!

I have a severe lady crush on my newest Shepard. She has a modded face texture, which helps loads. I'm still in ME2, and everything is taking twice as long because I can't stop taking screencaps of her. Seriously, she has her own photo folder and everything!

I'm an even 6'...so I might be to tall for Duncan :P

I always play the character as close to me as possible or er if I were in that position i.e. a female, rogue, mage etc. I just don't really care what they look like :P

For me, I have such a hard time with the fifty thousand degrees of freedom they allow for chargen, that I pretty much pick a preset and modify until I have someone attractive. I just don't have the skill to pre-determine what I want them to look like.

Nikki, love your shep! She doesn't have that weird frog mouth most fem!sheps get.

Danny: Didn't get a chance to say earlier, but loved your limericks! LOL

Another shortie here at 5'1"

I think all I know at the moment is that my first Inquistor will be a chicka, and my canon will likely end up a chicka too. I seem to have a pattern started. Girl in Origins, bloke in DA II, so it's time for a girl again!

Oh, so apparently today is the first day of Spring lol. So I guess that also explains why they haven't given us any DA3 news yet, lol.

So, here's BioWare's timetable for PAX East this week:

http://blog.bioware....-pax-east-2013/

I can't open the link on my phone, so I can't see what days they're on but it could be worth keeping an eye on that Thedas unlocked thingy.

oh thank goodness, at least you have headcanons, that's a start c:

also i've never really watched Doctor Who-- agraghrgafe but the idea of Varric making everything up is hilarious. And plausible.

Maybe Varric is the Maker and he just makes stuff happen for a good story. Can we get a verification from the devs on that please?

It wouldn't be the first time it was revealed that a story-teller is actually god (i'm looking at you, Supernatural.) I hope that the inquisitor has a happy ending, or at least the choice to get a happy ending. With no sudden disappearance.

Varric

please

Honestly I haven't really had to use Headcanon on hardly anything until ME3. Up until that point most of what was done was sufficient enough for me to be happy with the endings of each protaganist. The Warden and Alistair went on to have lots o'babies and well Hawke...I just pictured doing viscount shenanigans with her companions still checking in once in a while. The ending of DA2 kinda screwed with my headcanon a little but that is ok, I can always work around it.
ME1 and ME2 were fine, no need for headcanon, but ME3.... there was no way in the world I was going to allow such an ending to be canon, I had to fix it with my own imagination because it was just too bad. Such a good series.

I honestly can't think of how the Warden and Hawke will be used in the next one, since that cliffhanger was pretty brutal. I hope they don't kill them off or something because it just wouldn't help with replayability in my own opinion. It would definitely make me whince and then get sad because I have no control over something like that, it would suck if they killed them off. But honestly I have no idea, I probably know the least amount of information about DA3 compared to these guys in the forum :)

I haven't played through ME3 yet, I got the game for christmas and it's just been sitting in my games cabinet. I know how it ends so that kinda put me off playing it. (i've been watching scenes/playthroughs of it though)

I think I made a headcanon-happy ending for ME3, too. i know as soon as i play through it i'll just sob at the end because WHY THE **** DID I WORK SO MANY HOURS INTO GETTING A HIGH EMS WHEN IN THE END IT DIDN'T EVEN MATTER.

even the extended cut ending was a pile of crap, highest ems you can get and the only reward you get is Shepard taking a gasping breath?

I'd think if they killed of Hawke and the Warden i'd just feel like it's a fantasy-version of ME3, working hard but dying anyway. imagine if like, they were being held captive by the antagonist the entire game, and the inquisitor finds them. that'd be cool. i wonder if the Warden will have any dialogue, if they do who's gonna voice him/her? what if the Warden is an elf and they have to morph him/her into looking like the current version of elves?

AAH SO MANY QUESTIONS D:

I'm pretty short as well, i'm 5'1" but then again i am only 16, maybe i'll grow?!?!?212!??!!!1

my dad's only 5'5" so my entire family is short, except for my little sister Jade, she's only 11 and she's already slightly taller than i am. D:

am i the only one that thinks the human females in DA (DA2 specifically) are too tall/manly? i mean i'm not asking for a petite figure where they look like they can break in half at any given moment, but come on. when i romance Fenris, Hawke always looks like she'd be the one "on top", yknow?

i hope there's like a slider that can decide the body types of the inquisitor.

The human women do seem pretty tall lol. I think their body type is fairly accurate though, since they'd be pretty toned with all the fighting... though, if anything, they'd probably have bigger muscles like a lot of female sports personalities have.

yeah i don't mind muscles (i actually think muscles on women is attractive shh don't tell anyone) and all that, but a height difference wouldn't hurt ;3; at least make them shorter than elven men, and not by half of an inch. i could barely notice the height difference between fem!Hawke and Fenris

also on the muscle subject, why are male mages so freaking buff? they just cast spells why do they have abnormally huge muscles for waving their staff around? the women mages aren't so bad, but the warrior/rogues could do with a bit more to show that they're more fit and strong than mages.

That's just a game mechanic, it would be a waste of resources to make loads of different body types and also make interaction between said body types trickier. It would essentially doubling the devs workload when creating cinematic cutscenes, LI interactions (kissing/hugging) etc. I'd prefer them to use those resources on something that would improve the story/environments/companions/gameplay etc.

Well, just because someone's a mage doesn't mean they can't work out.  I get what you mean, though. I would like to see a little body differences if possible -- maybe a slider in the CC? I don't mind too much, though. It's not a game breaker for me. If it would take too many rescources, then I don't want it. I would rather see those rescources put towards the story.

I, personally, liked that my mage Hawke had some fine muscle on him. That's mostly because it felt pretty in character for him, as I always headcanoned that he did a lot of manual work around Lothering to help his family out -- and kept up a pretty hard work effort while in Kirkwall. I get why other people wouldn't want so much muscle on their characters, though.

As for the NPC game models... I thought there was a difference? Anders definitely wasn't as big as Hawke in the muscle department, and I thought Alain had a smaller build too? I can't remember any others off the top of my head, though. I really need to replay Origins and DA II before DA:I comes out.

Yeah, I think that's why the companions never removed any of their clothes during the romance scenes because underneath those clothes there is literally nothing lol. Just head and hands (and in the Elves case) feet.

yes the body-type-chooser-slider-thing is only something i'd support if it was something they could just throw in and not have to spend an extra month or whatever trying to develop it.

I think there is a bit of a difference to NPC body types. is it bad of me to want to see some fat NPCs again?

and don't worry, Dirge, you'll have heaps of time before DA:I comes out. I can't even tell if that's a good thing or bad thing. ;3;

Oh, lord.

I think that was a matter of the time restraints they were under with DA II. I think DG once said he really wanted a shirtless Fenris during the romance scene to show off some more of his lyrium tattoos, but there was no time? Don't quote me on that, though.
