I think I made a headcanon-happy ending for ME3, too. i know as soon as i play through it i'll just sob at the end because WHY THE **** DID I WORK SO MANY HOURS INTO GETTING A HIGH EMS WHEN IN THE END IT DIDN'T EVEN MATTER.

even the extended cut ending was a pile of crap, highest ems you can get and the only reward you get is Shepard taking a gasping breath? 

I'd think if they killed of Hawke and the Warden i'd just feel like it's a fantasy-version of ME3, working hard but dying anyway. imagine if like, they were being held captive by the antagonist the entire game, and the inquisitor finds them. that'd be cool. i wonder if the Warden will have any dialogue, if they do who's gonna voice him/her? what if the Warden is an elf and they have to morph him/her into looking like the current version of elves? 

AAH SO MANY QUESTIONS D:

So your scenario would be cool, allowing the inquisitor to rescue the two most important people in DA. And until you mentioned it ya, I never thought about the fact that the Warden would have to talk. It would be interesting to see how they would do it! I would suspect they would morph the elf to the current looks though, it would seem they would have to. But that is just my two cents on it, I wouldn't care to be honest. They revamped the graphics and it would be only logical if they revamped an elf warden. Man, now again I am excited for no reason....  no new news or anything .... just bored!

but don't worry, the day will come where we'll get more information on DA:I and we'll have something to be excited about. i'm sure they'll reveal something any day now, until then pray to the nordic gods of patience that we will be able to pull through

HAHAHA ok ok ok so I had heard something about that but I try to close my ears and not listen. But that sounds nothing like Shepard so I think that is why I had no problem with it lol.  I have a headache and your making me laugh, make it stop!

I heard that Mark Meer voiced Jethann, but for some reason I can never recognize his voice when I talk to that character! Then again, I don't really ever play as a male Shepard, so I'm not really super familiar w/ his voice in the first place.

For me, most voice actors do such a good job that it takes me a minute to recognize the actor through the layers of characterization anyway. Or, maybe my ear just isn't that well tuned! LOL Of course, once I know... then, indeed, it's hard not to notice the actor. Like Greg Ellis now, or Kate Mulgrew. I've never played male Shep, so I don't think I even know what Mark Meer sounds like (outside of Jethann, of course!).

You're right on that one - some voice actors are fantastic at changing up their characters to where they're barely recognizable. Then there are others that just have such a distinctive voice that there's no mistaking them. ie: Kate Mulgrew, Tim Curry (Howe), Jean Gilpin (Meredith - I'm hearing her everywhere now). It's an art, to be sure.

I'd love to sit in on a voice session one day just to be a fly on the wall. I hear that some actors don't like to be watched though, like Mark Hamill when he did the Joker. I don't balme them. I'd be very self conscious.

i had a playthrough of a male Shepard in ME2, i made him as ugly as i possibly could and gave him pink/purple armour and made him cheat on Liara with Miranda.

Mark sounds a lot more... uhh.. emotionless as man-Shep. To me, anyhow. 

also i know! Sometimes when I hear a character they sound familiar to a certain actor but I just can't think of who and it frustrates the ****** outta me D; i used to think being a voice actor would be easy, but it's probably a lot harder because they have to express everything through the voice instead of the face an whatnot

Greg Ellis alters his voice a little bit between characters, but it seems like I can pick him out fairly easy now. Jennifer Hale is easy to recognize as well. Other than those two, it takes me a few repeated lines to pinpoint the actor.

He was also that Vorcha on Omega (Mark). He actually has great range. Seeing him make the "Vorcha" face is really funny though lol.

Lol yeah. I'm actually just trying to portray the galaxy, however the way they make synthesis sound it seems like all forms of prejudice and just plain meaness is gone. Not that I'm complaining mind you, just REALLY hard to write some dialogue because I don't know if they're thinking process is any different.

I'm doing it in an e-mail format now, so hopefully I'll get over this writing slump I'm in.

I love Kate Mulgrew and always think of her as Captain Janeway. Yet it didn't occur to me that she was Flemeth until I read that somewhere!!!
