Ok, here's a really exciting exchange between Allan Schumacher and David Gaider in one of the DA3 import threads:
Allan: "We're exploring ways to enable "import" decisions in a way that is a bit more accommodating for fans.
An issue with our current import process is that small, often unobservable bugs, or even just design decisions, in the original game that don't affect that game can cause issues with a genuine save game import in the new game. This came up with DA2 (and probably ME2/3 as well). So we're exploring other solutions and seeing if there's a better way of doing things.
What we come up with will be revealed in more detail when it's been locked down and we start ramping up with DA3 news (which I know people are anxious for hahaha.
I'm a jerk."
Random BSN user: "Can't wait for that burst of information about DA3."
Allan: "Me neither to be honest. I think we have some stuff that will make a whole heck of a lot of people squee."
David Gaider: "There are some people I really don't need to see squeeing. But squee they shall, yeah. :)"
Gosh, I hope DG is refering to us squeeing lol. I'm pretty sure no one would wanna see us go into full squee-mode if Cullen was announced as a romanceable companion LOL!
HOLY-- SHEHGHHGEAAEGHAGEH
I'm excited just from that conversation i'll probably die when they start to announce stuff.
then i'll die, be resurrected with blood magic and die again if they announce Cullen as a romance option.
oh, do they actually announce romance options before the game? if so, i didn't know they did that
also, thanks you gaiz c: i love this thread almost as much as i love bacon. and Cullen. Cullen and bacon. This thread is like, DA heaven, because at least one of us finds something about DA:Ii think when information finally comes out, this thread will be the first to jump onto it
Lol, if there's news to be had you can bet your arse that it's us who finds out first. There's information in here that the rest of the forum aren't even aware of! They'll never find it though, the Cullen-ness puts them all off (mwahahaha!)
For DA2 apparently they released a couple (if not all) the romanceable companions on Valentines Day, which was a month or so before the actual games release. I dunno if they'll do that again this time round, given all the crap that went with DA2 'n' stuff. They seem to be doing it differently this time round.
