I would actually prefer there to be a reveal in summer because then I can really enjoy the resulting pandemonium!

Urgh, it's crap knowing that there isn't going to be any sort reveal happening this month.
The most recent post by ElitePinecone makes me hopeful for a late April early June announcement....or at the very least a blur trailer

Really? What did it say?
I doubt we'll get a trailer first because DG said it takes up a lot of time and resources from the game, so I'm expecting those to come later.

I dunno, I don't wanna grasp at straws. EA have a **** tonne of games coming out this year, so that could be anything. I dunno when Xbox 720 even comes out, but that would probably be 2014 (I would imagine) and DA3 are currently on target for late 2013 according to Mike Laidlaw.

Well it depends on whether they do the trailer or have Blur Studios do it. If it's the latter than all they need is to have a liason between the two companies. Game trailers though, yeah probably not.

Tsk, I hate all this waiting around.
Me to. It's cool how much discussion that one interview sparked. Gives me hope for the future.

I just want sum info. How are these dialogue wheels gonna really work? Where exactly are we going? What are the backgrounds we will have to chose from? How are they gonna work the specializations?
Did the companion armor customizing idea come together okay? Do we have a name?
Does this one have a soul?!? (edit: a Legion thing)
And a few screenies. I'll be happy.

If you were in the Thedas, like you were actually born in Thedas, what would you be?
I'd probably be a Dalish mage, because I hate humans, love animals/nature and think magic is kick ass. I'd also probably be kinda like Merril and not understand certain things
i'd probably worship the Creators, like all Dalish, and i might even go as far as to ridicule/judge other religions. i'd be kind of neutral when it came to templar/mages but lean more over on the mages side. I mean i wouldn't be all preachy about it, but i'd support mages, y'know?
that's what i'd like to be, anyhow. what about you guys? c:

are they going to bring back certain specializations? Arcane warrior was my favourite
wait, we're going to be able to choose our background? omg if they do that i will be so happy. I don't even care about races anymore i'd just love to be able to choose my own story
AAAAAAAAH I'M SO EXCITED NOW ASDFGHJKL

i mean with Hawke you couldn't choose anything - peasant from a noble family, (if mage) apostate, (if rogue/warrior) soldier from Cailan's army, that kinda thing. i mean i'm not complaining, i wouldn't mind if they did the same thing again, but some choice is always nice
it's good they might be bringing back origin stories

No worries
Hmm....if we're going by real world looks I'd probably be Rivaini (I'm more akin to Duncan's skin tone though). I don't really "hate" anybody so much as they really tick me off at times, but I forgive rather well. I'd probably be Qunari, given that I was born in poverty and the best chance out of that life would be. Umm my role would probably be that of a Sten or an Arvaraard (sp?) since I'm rather bulky and tall.
I'd probably have reservations about condemning someone's faith/religion/belief system/etc but idk how trained I would be. I'd probably become a Tal'Vashoth (not out of philisophical differences, but because my mother taught me right from wrong and I'd have a hard time rationalizing murdering someone for having a different opinion. I'd chalk it up to ideological differences and practice the Qun my own way
Um that would probably lead me away from Seheron or Par Vollen and into either a mercenary band or pirate crew (the latter if I had any choice) but I'd still try my best to keep others from harm.
Can't say I'd have the moral high ground on anything. You'd probably see me at the Blooming Rose (not irl me, but if I was raised as described) or some other brothel, once in a while. Nowhere near frequently, but I probably would find a girl who captures my heart and try to "save her" from that life
She'd either break my heart and I'd move on or we'd get married have a litter of kids and settle down somewhere, maybe outside Antiva
That's all I have for now at any rate

CGI trailers are my guilty pleasure so I'm always hoping for some, not so much gameplay. Though I do love to see the companions and the armor system seems cool.
I don't need all of that information but where we're going would be nice.
And screenies/concept art are a definite yes. I can keep myself occupied if I know they're definetily from DA3 though

You know...this kind of reminds me, there weren't a lot of "Chanters" in DA2. I kind of loved them from Origins. Was awesome messing with the one in Lothering
