^ I'm really interested who he could be writing in Dragon Age III, if he even is, you never know he could be writing plots instead. I didn't read his novel but I heard it was good. They seem to have brought in a couple folks from the Mass Effect teams so I think they really are pulling out all the stops for this one.

The Palace Job is fantastic, or at least I think so. It's right up there in my favourite book pile with Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I love me some clever humour. <3

If he's not writing any of the companions/a main NPC and is instead writing mostly plot/quest lines, I imagine it will still be very awesome. If I remember right, I think he wrote a lot of Tuchanka and Rannoch in ME3? And those were some of my favourite plot points -- especially going into the Geth mainframe!

I wonder if we could guess at what kind of character he might write from who he's already written? He writes some really strong women that's for sure and Mordin is funny as hell, ummm....that's all I can think of, so maybe Sera?

Sera could work, or that magister that was in the survey? I could see him doing some interesting stuff with that, like he did interesting stuff with Mordin, what he did, and his religious side...

I'm pretty damn certain that he wrote the majority of Garrus in ME2 and ME3 as well, though I could be wrong on that. I'm sure I read that he wrote the Garrusmance, though.

Hmm...

We don't know for certain that he even has a character, of course, but it's fun to speculate!

What graveyard shots?

In Haven, after you finish the whole Sacred Ashes plot line, you can go read the tombstones behind one of the houses. There's some pretty hilarious lines on them, and some of the Bioware staff even have tombstones there for giggles.

Yeah, I actually thought there was more than just the Haven graveyard... altho that's the only one I can think of off the top of my head. It's some kind of easter egg and hard to get to, apparently.

Image IPB

Anyway, it doesn't need a whole graveyard; just a tombstone.

Is that really, really real?

If so: Ahhh! *flaily hands*

Edit after screaming: It looks like they'll be keeping the DAII interface/set up for spells/abilities. Unless it's a placeholder type thing.

I like to play a game sometimes where I match potential characters with the different writers.

Example [Name]: Character Name/First Choice, Second Choice, etc

David Gaider: Cassandra, Cole

Mary Kirby: Iron Bull,

Sylvia Feketekuty:

Tonia Laird: Cullen,

Sheryl Chee: Sera

Patrick Weekes: Dorian Pavus, Sera

Lukas Kristjansen:

Jennifer Hepler:

Thats my guesses for now.

Mary Kirby on the Iron Bull would be a beautiful thing (if the Iron Bull is still a character in the game), just judging by how she's written previous characters. Though, to be honest, I love all the Dragon Age writers, so I love all their work~

I... have no idea who Tonia Laird is, though, so I can't say how her Cullen would be if she is, indeed, writing Cullen.

Those screens look amazing and it's good to see they're keeping the UI from DA2!

I only hope that they're not showing us those screens of Cassandra, to lure us into a false sense of securitiy and then pull a Mhairi and kill her off an hour into the game!

You know what? It's hard for me to determine if this is really Dragon Age. The art/visuals are supposed to be a blend of DA:O/DAII, but what does that mean? It's stylized I'm sure, but the lighting is better? Or the models are even more detailed?

Godammit April fools day! I looked at it in big on the twitter thread, it kinda looks like concept art from something (maybe not even DA related). It seems kinda suspect... I'm not gonna trust it unless it's confirmed.

Tsk, I got so excited then as well.

It also looks like all four squares are companions and that the UI bar doesn't extend behind the "presenter's" head.

This is a sick sick joke :P

Given the express point made by Darrah and Laidlaw that there are no DA3 announcements on April 1, I call bullsh!t.

Although, Patrick Weekes's joke tweets about it are pretty hilarious...

Plus it looks like the Polish text on the site says something about GDC...? Do we really think it likely they were showing screenshots at GDC? I thought only DG was there...?

If they'd have used DICE instead then it would've been more believable. Wankers.

Also, would Cassandra have a lyrium bar? I mean, I know she's a seeker 'n' everything but not even Alistair had a lyrium bar in DA:O and he was a Templar.
