What are the odds that the ditched DLC will become part of the new game.... which would put them ahead a bit, wouldn't it?

And as for Anders... I wouldn't be shocked if he did make an appearance in the next game even if you did knife him and leave him for dead. We all know that in the land of make-believe anything is possible. Justice can always make some voodoo to keep him alive. We never actually saw a corpse. What if he healed himself up enough to run off or something? It'll just give me another chance to kill him again! LOL

Well that fade spirit saved Wynne didn't it, so in theory Anders could have been saved by Justice as repayment for letting him co-inhabit his body. LOL it would be pretty funny if he came back a 3rd time!

I checked in on Greg Ellis but there's no word from him on twitter yet, I think he'd keep tight lipped until nearer the time, I think Adam was just trying to be cheeky, thinking no one would cotton on about SIDEuk... the only reason I knew is because I was trying to find out where Bioware advertise their auditions.

Did you find them in the end?

I couldn't find the advertisment, but I inadvertently found out where the VA's record their lines in they live in England LOL. So between Gaider's tweets about listening to VA auditions in England and Adam Howden mentioning recording at SIDEuk, I figured that he must have been doing it for Bioware since it was going at the same time.

I knew you were spy Lola! lol

I'll bet you those recording right now have some sort of non disclosures signed. They wouldn't want the cast running at the mouth too much before anyone is ready to release such info. It would ruin Bioware's surprise. Think about it. If we read that Greg Ellis is in the studio it would blow up everywhere that Cullen is in. Then the speculation heats up as to whether he's a full blown companion / LI or if it's just random quest content like in DA2.

(Not related but does anyone remember hearing about the crazy NDA's that M. Night Shama-lama-ding-dong had the cast sign when he filmed The Village? I recall Johnny Depp talking about it. There was a literal scripted response that was to be given whenever the press asked too specific questions re: plot lines. Very strange yet entertaining to see.)

LOL indeed

Yeah good point about NDAs. Since there still is no DA3, officially.

LOL I'm glad i'm not the only one that calls him M. Night Shama-lama-ding-dong!

Well, I think it was just the auditions/meeting so Adam probably hasn't signed anything yet... that and it was a very subtle hint that I don't think was supposed to be one, it was pure chance that I knew what he was talking about.

Here's David's latest tweet that I don't like the sound of LOL:

"David Gaider: I have been Mr. Responsibility today, living in a world full of budgets and Excel spreadsheets. I feel like an alien."

"Mike Laidlaw: We're all very proud of you, Dave. Now get back to breaking hearts and crushing dreams, if you would."

"David Gaider : Aye aye, captain! Setting sail for the Land of Broken Dreams as we speak! #therearechicksthereanyway"

I hate budgets!

I just finished Mark the Assassin and I really like Tallis. :] I was sad that she was only a temporary companion.

It's much prettier than the rest of the game isn't it, the fight encounters were better too. Did you play it as a sarcastic male Hawke? He totally nails those lines!

I don't really know what I'd classify my Hawke as.   This play through, I didn't have any story in mind.  Since I didn't have any files saved from my origins xbox 360 game, I had to use a default file.  This playthrough was to refamiliarize myself with the game.  I just ordered Dragon Age II for PC and bought bioware points for three of the DLC, so I'll have some files to transfer over.    I'm really enjoying playing DA II -- which really surprised me.  I haven't been able to turn it off ever since my fiance gave it to me.  As I had told my fiance, it's thanks to reading the Bioware Dragon Age II threads (especially this thread) that I've actually able to "overlook" some of what I used to hate about it, as well as paying attention to details that I never thought about.  Plus, it was my first time playing a male Hawke,  and I like his voice better than the female hawke (who makes me want to tear my hair out).

Me too! I hate female Hawke's voice! She's bloody annoying. I also come to like DA2 more after visiting these forums, I guess it's easy to overlook the bigger picture when there are so many little things wrong with it.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I just found out that apparently Loghain had pockets (!).

Dog: (Dog sniffs the air curiously.)
Loghain: Oh, don't give me that face. I'm betting you want the cheese in my pocket.
Dog: (He sits and waits patiently.)
Loghain: Very well, here you go. Don't eat it all at once. Or... do, whichever you prefer.
Loghain: I used to keep cheese in my pocket for Adalla too. I think the rinds were her favorite part.

So, here's the question... would it throw you out of the story to just mention pockets... and let you, the reader, imagine what form those take...?

Anyhoo, re: DG, I have no idea what those tweets mean... except that perhaps they're just dealing with mundane stuff.

@Dunquixote, glad you're enjoying MOTA. I think it had some really nice parts, especially the banters. I'll have to go back and try it again at some point with my m!Hawke. Sounds like the party outfit would bother me less. :D

I thought my hawke looked pretty good in the party outfit.  I made him look like Cullen. :P

Oh yeah! I remember now. Yeah, the Hawke's outfits are bloody awful, but it work soooo well when you played them as sarcastic/witty, especially with male Hawke!

So, figured out how to get templar armor for Hawke... and couldn't resist the following, in honor of ladyshamen's recent question of whether we pose ourselves with Cullen. LOL

Ahem, exactly. Wasn't enough Cullen on this page...

Now I'm trying to decide if I want to play as Cullen myself or swap out Fenris permanently...

Play as Cullen and see if you can get some fun screen shots, I'd like to see some MoTA facial reactions lol.

I think the one with his arms crossed is the real Cullen. The other is the imposter LOL.

... Bloody hell, it shows how many times I've played DA2 that'd I'd even know that.

You know, strangely Cullen-Hawke is a little thinner and shorter than the real Cullen. I wonder if that's real or something weird with the mod.

Maybe Cullen had his own body model or something, like the companions did?

Alas, no. Or at least not I've been able to find. The closest is Templar Carver, which I use for replacing the companions. But you can't swap Hawke for Carver's body for some reason. That said... maybe that is the Templar Carver body and he's taller than Hawke?

Anyway... close enough, I say! :)
