That's funny, I had the idea that it could be a dream, too!! Like after all these years, he finds himself dreaming of her. He's surprised by the intensity of the dream since he only saw his feelings as a boyhood crush. But still, it was an intense dream. He wakes up a little sad that it's over...

Well in my version he was actually in the Fade and well he stayed there like in the "Calling" novel where that Grey Warden loses his lover/husband (I forget) and he stays in the Fade instead of leaving.

The only way it could be a bad cll is if there was sum..carry over from DA2 to DA3.

Perhaps, even...a consequence. Maker, I could see demons rushing outta that thing now!

But where is the Mirror? Merrill isn't in Kirkwall anymore.

i don't think they'll make that canon. it seemed more like they said "if" that hppened--it was a bad call.

this excites me cuz of the idea that there might be a few consequences of your decisions played out--to a degree--in DA3.

That would just thrill me.

We'll see tho.

Does anyone, like me, not remember every single important decision your Hawke(s) made? I can't remember which ones rivaled Merrill and which ones didn't. Or even which ones have living siblings LOL

I don't keep more than one canon....so I kind of have it easy, but even with the one I have I tend to forget the "little" choices like whether I killed the hermit or not.

I agree with Raps though I doubt he's gonna make it canon, but they may make it important like if you helped her with it demons pour out of the mirror and overrun Kirkwall, but if you didn't well they don't lol. I think that was one of the conversations they meant by when they said friendship isn't always the best choice for a character.

I usually have a specific canon that I use, like my Shepard who romances Kaidan. Well she always does so makes no difference just remembering which one I went renegade on or what choices I made I will forget. I have gotten in the habit of naming my canon the same so it helps out. For dragon age.... *sigh... I can't remember for the life of me some of the stuff I have done because I have played it so many times. Plus I played it on the xbox when I didn't have my computer for 5 months, so now I forget what I did on the PC and not on the Xbox and vice versa. I am a mess when it comes to Origins. lol

edit: how odd. i didn't put a kiss face on my post. where did that come from? i guess i did, by accident.

 So I was seriously disappointed that he wasn't involved more (sebastian). I mean he was involved but only in Act 2 and his romance was .....sucky. A chaste marriage? really? I can't even imagine the amount of SUCK that would be! LOL 

If they are both LI/Companions.... I will be in DA3 heaven. Consider it pre-ordered!
