Sign ups open today!! Art due May 30, Stories due July 18.

If you're an artist or writer, you should consider it it! I loved writing my story, and the art that came out of it for the last DABB. It was a great experience.
I'd love to try this. I'm great at writing stuff for other things and it might help me get past my writing block.
Well you know I can TOTALLY write that much, whether it's good or not is completely different thing lol.

I have just completed my first played through of Dragon Age 2 and am part way through Dragon age Origins, yeah I know it's a screwy way of doing but I am new to these games and I'd bought DA2 first....anyhow.
I have a thought/ possible amusing if not creepy quest line for DA3.
As was stated at the end of DA2, both Hawke and the Warden have mysteriously disappeared, I have a few fun ideas but since this one is involving Cullen I will post it here.
Obviously this depends on choices made in DAO i.e. if your warden lived or sacrificed herself; but since Cullen was obsessed with the female mage/warden could one possible reason for her disappearance be that the Templar has finally flipped and decided to act upon his unrequited love/obsession and so abducted her or killed her. Again this would depend on choices made in DAO and weather Cullen went crazy and ran off or weather he became Knight Commander.
Is it just me or could it not be a possibility, given the poor guy was tortured to the point of near insanity. OK he has a huge dislike/mistrusts of Mages but given ending in DA2, I personally feel that things might have been put into a little bit more of a prospective given that Meredith was just as bad. Besides the warden was the few mages that he really had any feelings for apart from loathing and mistrust. He loath her kind but let’s face it DA2 shows he still wants/thinks of her.
I could see it now, a little cave with a white picket fence and a few ‘borrowed’ elf children, Amell making cake...ahh so sweet! lol
It would be up to the main character of DA3 and the wardens love interest, whomever they may be, to find her or her body and kick Cullen’s backside.
Or, the ‘hero’ of DA3 could just say something along these very vague lines..... ‘Look man you love the woman, stop being and arse and go tell her, so what she’s a mage and you’re a templar....live a little!”
Is it just me that could see the Templar doing something like this Do you guys have other ideas as to where the Warden and Hawke could be, as it stand my Hawke is off having lots of fun with Fenris.

I think it would definetily be VERY creepy lol, not necessarilly amusing though since it's a very real thing that could happen to someone. I dunno if he'd go that far unless he's specifically been meant to throughout both games. He seems a bit to sane though to do that, know what I mean?: Not that it's completely out of the realm of possibility or I think he's above it, because he really could do it, but there are so many factors I think that would prevent him from capturing the Hero of Ferelden, let alone keep her hidden some where
I imagine there will probably be some kind of mention of the potential romance though.
My Warden went off with Morrigan, whereas my Hawke is probably with Isabela or whatever big bad in DA3 due to that final comment in DA2.
Well that's what I got
Welcome to the Cullen Thread.

True, as much as I know the whole fem mage Cullen situation would not have been allowed to happen 'realistically' from an in game political/religious perspective; or at the very least it would have been a difficult task for a mage Amell to change Cullen’s mind concerning an illicit romance between them; I always thought it was a shame there was not more interaction between the two in the game.
Ahh see now to me he came across as a little too hung up on her still. I always viewed him as keeping a grip on certain portions of his life, thoughts and feelings; but when it came to other things he can still act with a lack of sense and rationality as his emotions run quite high e.g. when dealing with mages. When I first played through DA2 I understood why Bethany was scared of him just as much as I understood where his mistrust and vast dislike of Mages came from, I was still pro mage though (the less said about the ending the better)
I agree that story would be a stretch, but not impossible if, for example, she was a Grey warden and not Queen, after all being a Grey warden does not prevent Hawks sibling from being taken as a hostage.
I really like Cullen as a character; well he got nasty in the tower and spoiled it a little. I'd personally love to see an expansion of his character in DA3 along with Fenris, romantically if possible but if not just more dialog options.
Thank you for the welcome.

Oh no I am not saying that it'd be amusing when compared a RL sense of things, I am personally imaging it in a vastly OTT cheese sense purely for my own warped sense of amusement, for some reason I have the scene/song 'Somewhere that’s green' from Little shop of horrors in my head. Yes I know that would never ever work game wise, it just my insane brain going off on a tangent.

Well I meant if you wanted it to be serious, didn't mean it COULDN'T be taken as amusing, because you know, some people laughed at what happened to Leandra lol (not me). It could be SUPER funny if I'm honest, it's just it seems like it would be funny in a macabre/disturbing kind of way.
I don't think there would be any issues if the mage warden wanted to try and actually romance him, I just think that because she's the protagonist the likelyhood that she'd get captured by a mentally deranged templar as opposed to a companion who's captured by a group of rebel mages and templars, know what I mean?
I think he could potentially go postal, provided the right circumstances occur I just, and this is my opinion don't think he's quite there yet. I think it's one of the possible outcomes for his character...just not necessarilly one that includes any of the Wardens because it'd be kind of sad if the slayer of an Archdemon, talking darkspawn, Harvester and Varterral is taken out by a single deranged curly haired temple lol, which would bother me more than if he turned crazy (that'd still bother me, but there is a bit of a precedent and I'd be upset because it would seem like a complete 180 from where he's heading at the end of the game).
Np. It was a good question

The ending to DA2 got me wondering where they could be and what Bioware has planned, if anything, for DA3 It was when I started playing through DAO and DA Awakenings that my pervese little mind went 'Hmm I could see said deranged curly haired Templar potentially/possibly having somthing to do with that.'
If it was a male warden he could have run off to raise he demon baby with Morrigan, I just wanted to see if anyone else had had any thoughts/fancy as to where they might be; I wonder if there is a thread for that and if not why not g'dam it!
As I said I'd have my female Hawke either on the run with Anders or with Fenris, not thought of anything outlandish for Hawk yet.

There are a lot of threads surrouding the outcomes of the Warden and Hawke, I think that most people simply assume that BioWare will say where they are in DA3 and so unlike certain topics it doesn't get a lot of traction.
Lol I imagine they could be on a daisy filled field trip, I personally imagine any Warden that didn't go through the Eluvian probably got captured by the big bag of DA3.
My Hawke is probably napping on Isabela's boat lol.

Hmm. LOL Honestly, that's a pretty interesting twist, in a frakked up, Stepford Wives meets Desperate Housewives kind of way. Before Cullen recovered, he set her up in some brainwashed Wisteria Lane dungeon.
Of course, I personally don't think it's really that plausible to happen in game, for a slew of reasons ( I don't think he was actually THAT into the Warden, that crazy DA:O epilogue was retconned, he's at the Chantry at Greenfell recovering during Witch Hunt, after his recovery plus a decade he probably would have come to his senses). But that doesn't mean it's not interesting speculation!
LOL We sometimes talk about what would be a deal breaker for us in terms of Cullen future character evolution. Yup, that would be one. Eeeeewwwww.

Eeeeewwwww.
Yeah....I think that's where I draw the murder knife line. Well Keldar sort of did it for me, but I felt bad because he was mentally challenged. I didn't really regret it though, Lia was better off and he'd have just kept going.
That's how I rationalized it lol. He was my first murder knife I think. Don't think there were that many to be honest lol.
