Oooooo good question!
Hm, I think i'd like to see a desperate longing kiss since the poor boy probably has years of pent up sexual frustration. But I'd also like to see the sad "last kiss" when it comes to the final goodbyes before the big fight (kinda like the Kaidan/Shepard kiss at the end of ME3.)
Hmm, yeah, afraid I have no idea. I see that you have the game the registered but the only profile I see is the xbox one for DA2. In my experience with the online profiles, it typically takes MUCH longer than I expect for my stuff to show up online. That said... could it be buggy for DA2, having more than one profile? Anyone know how I get my pc dragon age profile to show up? I already have my game registered but my profile for that version of the game only redirects me to my pc DAO player profile.
I can see your DA2 xbox game and the character you've created, but not not the DA2 pc one.

I like the desperate longing idea. Sort of the "dam breaking" kiss. The first Anders kiss was hot, minus the sound effects for me. Which were especially mood breaking when subtitles were turned on. LOL

I found Thane's death to be very poignant and touching (even though I never felt the urge to romance him. I actually found him kinda boring and generic. No offence to his fans *Hides*). However, his death didn't surprise me. Even if he hadn't died from that stab wound, his disease would have claimed him anyway. I actually prefer the way he died, he saved a life :-)
But yeah, if David Gaider is planning on writing in a main character death, he's got some pretty hard acts to follow if he's going to try and emulate ME3 (in terms of deaths. And no, I'm not counting a certain one that many fans have headcannoned out of existence).

I most certainly hope so. I really want a playable Amell mage character to have the chance to romance Cullen. That would make all three of my DA characters either immediate Amell girls or related (My F!Hawke).
I can just see Alistair (not king), Fenris, and (possibly) Cullen commenting on this. Might be something along the lines of, 0_o "Heroism must be in the blood or something..."
OH NO ... don't give them any ideas! But, I agree, something like that would make for delicious drama. Still haven't played through mass effect myself (so didn't know about Thane or whatever other BIG deaths happen from all the bruhaha), but from what I hear, they're not a bad series from which to get inspiration (and of course, I've still fallen in love with Kaiden somehow. :shakes fist: Damn you Bioware and your pixel men!). The thing about deaths though... thematically it sounds like they fit with an overaraching three-game arc for ME, since everyone knew that was The End. I wonder if that would work as well for the DA franchise, which ostensibly will continue on into perpetuity (she says wistfully while praying to the BW gods). Given the presumed lack of swan song in the next DA (crosses fingers), I would imagine any death would be avoidable, in the sense of how you could in principle choose Anders' death or how you could choose Kaiden or Ashley in ME or choose Morrigan's ritual.LolaLei wrote...

I just have this horrible feeling that it'll be Cullen they'd kill off in that situation (if they do make him a love interest/companion that is.) Mainly because he has a lot of redeeming to do and I can just imagine him putting his own life on the line to save a Mage after coming to terms with the fact that not all Mages are dangerous/weapons/evil/whatever or take on some bad guy by himself to bide the rest of the companions/PC enough time to escape... which would make for a very emotional scene but I'd be so ****ing pissed off if I wasn't given the option to be able to save him. Ideally which companion DG 'n' co hypothetically chose to kill off you'd be able to save them some how (like if your friendship is high enough or whatever, like you could with Grunt in ME3 if you had him loyal by doing his mission in ME2.)

That said, having a Big Choice involving poor Cullen offering to redeem himself through death on behalf of the mages would be a nice final character moment for him (for haters and non-haters, alike). Pretty hard to accuse him of ambivalence then! It could work even if he wasn't a LI, since he could be sacrificing himself for some ideal future somehow, where mages and templars co-exist peacefully and mages are treated fairly... cue rainbows and moonbeams and sun dappled pools.
Of course, now I'm imagining that shivery scene at the end of the first LOTR, when Aragorn lets Frodo leave with the ring, then in slo mo walks alone toward the oncoming horde of orcs bearing down on him. Then again... he also survived that battle...

As a reminder, it featured a quite lovely April.

Hi all,
I will never catch up here it seems. I'm sick as a dog. (Who was it here that was sick earlier? I will hold them responsible. lol) Anyway, you were talking about kisses and I wanted to just throw out there that is one of my favorite. non-kiss moments on film:
You can skip to about 2:27 if you don't want to bother with the whole scene.
Also, I have to agree with R2 on the "dam breaking" kiss idea. Love it!

I'm still of two minds on this... despite the Seeker armor reveal. It could also be that ... her story is told now, and the companion is a new Seeker character. Altho, admittedly, more likely that it would be Cass herself.LolaLei wrote...
I was just looking at that Dawn of the Seeker film thingy. Mike Laidlaw said this:
"An action-packed look at the origins of a character destined to shake the very foundations of the Dragon Age world."
Sounds like Cassandra is gonna be in DA3, probably as a companion since they've gone to so much trouble telling her backstory.
