You know, I've played DA2 at least 8 or 9 times now and it's only in the last week that I realised in Act 1 when we first run into Cullen (after we help him kill demon Wilmod) he kneels before Hawke as he introduces himself. I always thought he was just crouching down to examine the corpse or for dramatic effect, LOL!

Maybe he just  lost his contact lense?!!

I thought he was looting the body too. I'll have to re-watch that at some point.

R2 - Lily von Shtupp is my hero! xoxox

I thought he was doing that. Crouching to examine Wilmod's corpse, I mean... He wasn't doing that?

Nope! Upon using a clip of that part of the scene recently I had to rewind and watch it over and over again to cut it up at the right moment, which was when I noticed that he was bowing to her. It's an easy mistake to make though, since the camera dramatically zooms in on him doing it as he's talking.

Nice artwork! He looks a little... made up though. Like "Lay off the bronzer!" kind of made up. Is it just me seeing this?

By the by, I'm working on chapter 3 of Collide. I hope to have it done or at a postable stopping point before I go. It's where the Trouble starts! *evil-strokes evil goatee, evilly*

LOL I was thinking he's got a little Capn Jack Sparrow goin' on.  I love that he's also got his DA3 fur stole goin', though!

He does! Ooooooh! That gives me an idea as to what a Cullen who has been kicked out of the Order might turn to doing! He could be trying to be an upstanding merchant ship captain! Just thiiisss side of piracy. Runs afoul of some scallywags and because Izzy is among the group, his ship isn't commandeered. She keeps calling him "Ser Pirate" just to watch him fluster and scramble to refute her. Hehehehehehehehe.....!

Bwahaha! Pirate!cullen. Yeeeesssss..... So long as he wears this outfit, I'm good... :innocent:

Huh... Well there's my mind blown. lol! :D Does he have a habit of bowing to everyone he meets or just those who recently saved his bacon, I wonder?

Well the peekaboo cleavage window might be a little weird on a guy... but otherwise it rocks! I'd prefer a loose linen shirt with collar severely unlaced! *nods*

Edit" "Trapped a nut"...? Oh my! Lola! *cackles*

Oh, I don't think he's bowing to her... I thought he was just crouching down to be dramatic/contemplative. Like, he's looking off in the distance as he kneels down as he waxes eloquent about Wilmod, etc.

Tha's what I thought. That he was looking to see what clues he could glean from Wilmod's body.

Hermmmm...

I wish he'd "glean" a few things from my PC's body! haha! Apparently she's not dead enough...

What am I even saying? I think I need to put the wine down. Yep...

See that's what I thought at first too, but just before and after that you see him crouch into a bowed pose and then come up from it. You only see both for a split second, but it's there.

If I was at my computer I'd get the clip and slow it down to show you.

LOL I was thinking the 'brief' nature of it would suit him.... but with adaptations.  I just thought that outfit of hers was rockin.' Somehow  both more and less clothed. :police:

Also, where he's bowing there's no corpse.

It's here.

I dunno, I really don't think it has anything to do with Hawke. He's just talking about his theories about Wilmod's possession.

edit: Agree with Lola, though, he's not examining a dead body. He's just kneeling down to think.

Balls, I can't load it up on my phone to watch it again.

Is it possible to change the camera angle in the cutscenes in DA2, like you can in ME3? If we could do that then we'd know for sure.

No, we can't change the angle (I didn't know you could even do that!), but the devs did. He kneels down facing Hawke, but the camera then switches to the side to show him in profile. So basically, he's staring at Hawke's crotch while he's talking. LOL

LOL, who kneels down to think? That's just weird.

... Maybe my second guess was right, and he really had trapped a nut in his gilded chastity pants.

I dunno, cinematically, it works. You know, you see the CSI dudes at a crime scene walking around, kneeling to get the lay of the land as they try to solve the mystery. It never bothered me before. Now that we're dissecting it, though... it seems WEIRD! LOL

That's why I thought he was bowing, cos it's less odd.

... Maybe he used to hunt animals with his father as a kid, so he's looking for signs that other Templars or blood mages were around by looking for tracks and stuff. Or he's just weird.

Lol, I can't believe I just came up with a little story of his childhood based on the fact that he bloody bent down in one scene... come to think about it, I can't believe we're speculating about it! Seriously guys, this is what no news does to people!

LOL All I can see in my head is Prince Humperdinck. "There was a mighty duel! Both were masters..."
