So here's a question for you all:

If DA3 sees companions getting together (like Fenris and Isabela do in DA2) what kind of character could you see Cullen dating (excluding Amell/Hawke and the new protagonist.)

I reckon it would be Cassandra or someone like her, they'd have that love/hate thing going on and then you'd catch them in the act towards the end of the game lol.

Everyone's going wild over some Regalyan Mage guy from Dawn of the Seeker, according to bonus footage of behind the scenes it's heavily suggested that he will be a companion and that fans love a strong male lead... Hm, as intriguing as he sounds this guy could certainly push Cullen onto the sidelines as the strong male role in DA3, if we even get him at all now. Personally I feel that if anyone should get the role of the strong male lead that heavily tied into the main plot then it's Cullen, I'm a little annoyed that some brand new virtually unknown character should get the part.

Damn. Ah well, Regalyan better be on par romantically with Alistair's romance arc in DA:O if we are to lose Cullen or only have him as the minor romancable companion,

I actually kind of see Cassandra and Leliana getting together. Maybe a few lonely nights, a few buckles that need help undoing to get the armor off back at HQ? I'm not usually a huge pusher of lesbian romances just because I hardly think about it, but I could totally see those two getting together. It'll never happen because of Warden romances though.

Could see Cass and Lel. I'm also interested to see this new mage dude from the Seeker movie. Without seeing it I would have been surprised if an extended universe character would show up in the game, so now my curiosity is piqued.

I haven't seen Dawn of the Seeker (yet - it's not out in Europe) but his character profile on the Wiki sort of makes him sound a bit 'Anders-like'?

Specializing in healing magic, he is described as a humorous gentleman with a sharp mind.

And I'm not sure they'd want two such similar characters as companions in both DA2 and 3...

But, like I said, I've not seen it so he could be totally different...

Regalyan is actually quite different from Anders. His personality has sparkle, but he's not cracking jokes all the time like Alistair or Anders 1.0. He's as warm as Alistair and probably more level headed than either of them. And he's a Chantry/Circle loyalist. To that end I could actually see him working as an ambassador of sorts to the broken away circle on behalf of the Divine.

I'd just start a Regalyan thread but it doesn't belong anywhere. He's not a companion (yet) and he's not even in DAII. Not to mention we have very little information on him, even after watching the movie.

LOl that's what I was just telling myself...  Gah. For some reason itunes never occurs to me as an option... probably because I only force myself to use it to get stuff on my phone, not for buying with all their DRM nonsense.  Oh well.

I've just had a look and can't see it on the UK iTunes. Am hoping it maybe comes to Zune on the XBox fairly soon. Thanks for trying to help though.

I've taken to calling him "Darth Gaider" since he's so evil. I dread to think what he's planning for DA3. It's gotta top the dark ritual/sacrifice thingy of DA:O and the Chantry blowing up in DA2. I'm worried LOL.

There's a guy doing some work on the house opposite mine and he has what I think Cullen's hair would look like if he didn't cut it for a few weeks... Unfortunately that's where his similarities to Cullen end, if he was a look-alike I would take some stealthy pictures and post them on here lol.
