This is cool. Dunno anything about the data collection technique or how many people answered the survey (it was run by a fan; data were not collected by BW). So there are bound to biases. But, still, interesting food for thought.

That's so cool! I hope the Dragon Age development team saw that.

Referring back to brushyourteeth's post (since I'm late to the party), the thing we're forgetting is that for the most of DA2 Cullen was very young and had been thrust (hur hur) into a position of power with little experience beyond his torture at the hands of blood mages. Beyond that he was a complete noob.

I've always felt that he has a naive and youthful outlook when it comes to trust, he's fiercely loyal to Meredith to the point where he'll see no wrong in her or hand wave off her displays of madness until it comes to a point where he can't make anymore excuses for her behavior and has to take action, he put his unwavering trust in her ( for various reasons) and when she ruined it he seemed genuinely pained upon realising that his trust had been misplaced. I agree with brush that he does seem to be rather implusive to raise his sword (hur hur hur) during the early stages of DA2, but once we hit Act 2 you see him begin to reflect on things and question certain issues within the Order, and by the end of Act 3 he seems to want nothing more than to resolve the issue as peacefully and with as little bloodshed as possible.

He seems to be the kind of guy that wants to protect people (even the mages) rather than needlessly slaughter them, although I'd say that even by act 3 he still has an issue with blood mages, and quite rightly so given his torture by them and his PTSD, that's definitely something that can't just be handwaved. I wouldn't say that he's pro-mage or pro-templar by the end of it, his actions seem to be more pro-change, both within himself and within the mage/Templar issue.

I think by the end of DA2, you're right that he is neither pro-mage or pro-templar. At that point, both sides have sort of screwed him over and disappointed him to the point of total mistrust. This of course is something I really hope they address if he is to play a larger role in DA3. It'd be so interesting to have such a jaded character to shed light on the conflict that is going on, seeing as he's seen the ultimate worst of both sides.

HAHAHA I love it. Great explanation!  But I liked the (hur hur)'s, I nearly spit out my soda. Very nicely played young lady!

Well that would explain a lot! lol

By the way, that data chart you posted has fulfilled my deep-seated need for order out of chaos. Now the craving to clean my kid's room is gone. Thank you! Posted Image

Oooo I like this one! It looks like Cullen has been cornered in one of the darkened corridors of the Gallows and is about to get told off, or his arse kicked.

Go Cullen! Lay the smackdown!

The folks above the #DA3 floor have been drilling on something for ~6 months. At this point, I just want to know what they are drilling!
