And yeah, speaking of bringing down EA and the consequences, did you guys hear about Disney closing down LucasArts and firing EVERYONE?

I wouldn't worry about the way they're advertising it; most people who buy video games never step foot in an online forum or read any of these blogs and what not. Those of us who do are the "hardcore" fans and make up a small percentage of the buying public.

STOP RIGHT THERE. don't say anymore.....you will make me cry.

EA need to tell the guy to step away from the keyboard before he does anymore damage to the companies reputation.

I think he is paying too much attention to the internet, the hardcore fans and so on, and that silly poll is the representative of that. He shouldn't have stooped to answering it, and I agree it was a bad PR move, and the sort of thing that will get retweeted enough that even the regular fans will see it.

I feel sorry for the former Lucasarts employees.
I couldn't believe it when I heard the news. Like I stood still for a second, pinching myself. The obcenities that came out of my mouth was outstanding, not at the time of course. Its a very sad time in history

PR police and the COO Moore
"Sir I am going to ask you nicely.... step away from your computer .. " Then seeing Moore snatch his laptop "SIR ... now Sir... what are you doing?.. get that..wait.. what are you doing? Come back here NOW! I said get back here!" and start running down the hall. Moore's dashing down the hall as his cords are flailing in the air.

Moore's struggling to get up all the while the PR Police is trying to grab his laptop. Moore bites him in the arm and while the guy shouts he snatches it up again and makes a run for the nearby cubicles. PR police holds his arm as it bleeds, he starts after Moore again eyeing each cubicle.

Yeah I actually think more HARDCORE gamers (like people who post to BSN) are homophobic than the broad swath of gamers, period. I mean if we just take Americans, the majority of Americans are in favor of gay marriage, so homophobic then general populace is not.

I don't think it's real you guys. I know Chris Priestly tweeted the link, but there is no source on the Dorkly website, along with the whole "don't buy our games if you want us to change" thing. Never would the COO of any company "officially" say that.

Apparently it's straight from EA's blog.
The most recent post on the EA blog is the "We can do better" article he posted a few days ago. The one that discusses homophobic gamers and addresses that it looked like they were going to win the survey.
The response to the survey is the fake one, from the Dorkly site. Seems like the writers from that site are just trying to create controversy and take advantage of the popularity of the topic.

Maybe, either way by tomorrow we'll know for sure, EA will set the record straight as to whether one of their staff members wrote it or not.

There's so many of them! I try to stay away from them because they generally have a pretty immature attitude when it comes to game reviews, topics, etc. First time I heard of Dorkly though.
My graphic design teacher got me hooked on Cracked.com

What a strange thing for them to fake (the EA thing, that is). I would've expected them to come up with something amusing for it, rather than something that sounded legit.

*name removed*:
@BioEvilChris the tone and context of how they say "Some Nerds were upset with the ending of ME3" sounds really arrogant to me YMMV
@BioEvilChris:
@*name removed* In the fake article I tweeted earlier? The fake one?

"COO of EA goes on rage fueled computer smashing spree after EA is deemed "Worst Company in America". Last seen running down the streets screaming obscenities and cursing Consumerist.com. When reached for a comment, Peter Moore declaired "Alistair never loved you!"
