LOL I suppose no one in real life has those funny yellow/amber eyes anyway. Perhaps that's why Alistair has blue eyes in the comics. :D

Actually, I went to highschool with a girl who had eyes just like that! I'll never forget it because I haven't met anyone with amber eyes since.

I always liked to imagine that Alistair had proper hazel eyes. I guess I did a fair amount of talking to him in camp, and that's what they looked like in the light of the fire (on my monitor)

As for the character quiz, I ended up ith Sten and Aveline. lol

Mine seem to change colour. Sometimes they look amber, other times they look greenish brown. Depends on the lighting really.

Good points. I guess hazel kinda looks like that amber color. Sometimes they just look so black cat, bright yellow in game, particularly Morrigan's.

Isn't Morrigan's supposed to be weird because she had that mysterious witchy thing going on.

Aren't they the same colour as Flemeth's? I thought she had witchy amber eyes too. I wonder how Flemeth will look in DA3 cause they really vamped her up in DA2!

Edit - forgot to add I love that romance book cover lol!

I heard that game was hard to play (from the reviews I read), so I didn't buy it!

Agreed. I always percieved Morrigan's eyes to be yellow rather than amber. It did make her look a little more magical and witchy:wizard:

Yes, it's very difficult. I'd say the game is quite niche. It's unique compared to anything on the market though. Kinda hard to describe.

If you're not a patient gamer who looks at their surroundings cautiously Dark Souls will punish you like no other game. It's like a risk vs. reward type of game. Stick your nose where it doesn't belong and prepare to be challenged. But they also reward you for doing so. Triumph the challenge and you'll see proper reward. Maybe a new armor set, weapon, or items. Very cool game.

It has a very devoted following and a great community. The game does not hold your hand at any point and is very vague on certain mechanics. You wouldn't be able to know all the secrets of these games unless you looked at a guide. That's spoiling it in my opinion though. A big part of this game is self-discovery and that's a big reason it's so different from other games.

I mentioned Morrigan before and her yellow eyes. I always wondered if Morrigan was telling the truth about Flemeth because she seemed to lie a lot, IMO.

Alistair mentioned in banter how her nose looked like her mother and Morrigan didn't like that. If Morrigan was snatched away as a child by Flemeth then why does she share features like her eyes/nose? That right there tells me Morrigan is lying about Flemeth's desire to steal her soul. Yellow eyes always made me believe she was possibly apart of some ancient dragonkin race we don't yet know about in the DA universe.

Was Morrigan supposed to have been kidnapped as a babe? I just thought Flemeth got pregnant and raised a new vessel for herself the old fashioned way ...

Yavana also has amber/yellow eyes - maybe there is a link to the dragonkin. Re Flemeth I don't think we'll ever know the truth about her (or her daughters).

I might attempt to play Dark Souls one day. I does sound v intriguing!

Do you guys really believe what Morrigan appeared to believe? That Flemeth raises "daughters" and then takes over their bodies?

My Warden didn't. He lied to her. Plus he had no reason to dislike Flemeth, who saved his life. I'm glad he made that decision. He was also not close with Morrigan and never quite trusted her.

Personally, I think they are both immensely powerful and dangerous entities. I don't think Morrigan is "just" a human apostate. I'm really curious about both these characters!

Plus I like that Flemeth's appearance changed in DA2 because she made that comment, "Bodies are such limiting things." I think she used a body as Morrigan's mother, and now she's moved on. And I don't mean that she physically "stole" that body.

Yavana from the comic books didn't deny it when Alistair mentioned Flemeth possesses her daughters, though she called it a "gift".

Even if the description of the Robes of Possesion is inaccurate, it's still a tad suspicious that the outfit Flemeth made for Morrigan decreases her willpower.

Given all the evidence at hand, I believe Morrigan's theory.

I don't know, as Face of Evil said Yavana and is some regards Flemeth never really denies it. Plus the robes are called Robes of Possession which is kinda weird to have just lying around. That's not to say that I think everything either of them says is entirely right. I think some of the "good" things Flemeth might be trying to do Morrigan just doesn't understand because it is a bit to complicated for anyone who hasn't lived as long as Flemeth.

At the same time though I think Flemeth will do anything to reach her goals which isn't exactly good.

I hope she gets a new model again, it might be cool if she looks different to each protagonist.

I wouldn't say you're wrong Moto, it's just one of those things in Dragon Age where the plot is so mysterious that it could go either way. Plus don't take much I have to say to seriously when it comes to this plot thread, I'm biased into thinking my Morrigan is pure :P

Hmm, I always believed the Morrigan was a foundling story and that there was some kind of possession something going on with Flemeth. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if we still didn't have the whole story with the body swapping.

On Yavana... hmm, I think I'll have to go re-read the comic. I sorta remember it as suggesting the Flemeth taking over her daughters' bodies theory was bunk, that Yavana sorta pooh poohed it. I mean... if the possessing her daughters idea was true, then wouldn't Flemeth look like Yavana now...?

OK, reviewing... Hmm... now I can't tell.

Silent Grove #4.

Alistair: [on Flemeth] I'm also told she possesses her daughters.
Yavana: Is that right? Ha!
A: What's so funny? Morrigan found out what Flemeth planned, and we stopped it...
Y: That poor confused child. It is a gift! You cannot understand.

My guess is that Flemeth has several daughters for different tasks and that she tells each of them only a small bit of the overall story. It would make sense that she wouldn't tell Morrigan (who potentially could have a bigger role) that she 1. plans to possess her and 2. That she's manipulating her towards a certain goal.
