Tallis maybe? Although she tends to speak Qunari. Maybe Sera? But she's supposedly not really into the culture. Probably another group of Dalish that we'll pester... Round three of getting called a Shem!

I imagine it has something to do with the dalish, we did see that huge image of the aravels passing through a field. I dunno about Tallis ever showing up really (not any time soon anyway lol).
I wonder if Sera will say anything elvish? I mean she doesn't have to connect with them to use shem or some other word here and there right? Also....any idea who she'll be voiced by? I'm guessing Laura Bailey, Kari Walhgren or a possible french actress I haven't heard of.

Okay, that's....kind of awesome. I wonder what a horror Mass Effect game would look like? I mean potentially you could have every type of sub genre in Mass Effect since it's so...I want to say "realistic"?

That looks cool! Um, but can someone tell me why a character in Dead Space would wear the N7 logo on their uniform? Are the universes related? Or, is that an easter egg of Shep's dead body floating in space...? Sorry if I'm asking a dumb question.

It's pretty clever, because the outfit is listed as a custom costume from the fictional game made back in the 2000's. So you wear it basically to cosplay LOL!

Basically, I told them I don't understand how they could forget what makes the franchise so good to fans. If I wanted to play a TPS, I would play the other seemingly thousands of TPS games on the market. What separated Dead Space from the rest of the market was the isolation horror feeling. Co-op completely kills that atmosphere and so I completely neglect it in my game. Human enemies? Zombies with guns? The heck? The game is about Necromorphs. Why put a half-assed cover mechanic in an action-horror game?
I also told them I actually like co-op in all games except horror for the isolation feeling. I'm not completely against co-op in a horror game if it's done right though. You can still retain the cold feeling of always being helpless and surrounded even in co-op. Why not make it to where your partner is across the map and you guys are moving to different objectives but you never directly come into contact with each? Yet, you feed off doing things to help your buddy to progress. Kinda like that game Martian Gothic Unification? Lola knows what I'm talking about.
I wonder how devs lose foresight on what makes their franchises so beloved.

It's funny though. I started Dead Space 3 last night and I get a survey invitation asking me my thoughts on the game. I really wonder how much companies like Bioware rely on market research like that. I took the time to express all my thoughts out as articulate as I could.

Hehe MGU.
What I really missed in Dead Space 3 were the crazy hallucinations that Isaac would suffer. I liked how in the previous games you couldn't always be sure if it was a genuine necromorph about to attack or if you were just having another funny turn.

Here, here!! (Or is that Hear, Hear...) I think this happens to the DA franchise, too. I mean to me it feels like they think what makes people fall in love with their games is the environment. Um, sure, Thedas is great, but to someone like me who grew up reading fantasy novels, it's honestly nothing special or UNIQUE. (Again, it is great, and I've never created such an amazing and rich fantasy world, but it is not SPECIAL in any way.) People play DA games because of the CHARACTERS and, um, yep, the romances.

That was my big problem with the original Mass Effect 3 endings. Shepard might have been fighting to save the galaxy, but a lot of players were fighting to save the characters and more importantly the companions that live in it... not to mention their own Shepards.

A fine point, as Aveline would say! I admit that is what originally bothered me the most about the first ending (minus them making it impossible for me, a non ME 1&2 player or multiiplayer, to get the "perfect" ending).

I didn't particularly like the extended cut endings either, but at least they put some effort into it and my crew and companions weren't stuck on the arse-end of nowhere anymore.

Lack of teasing is currently because we had bug week, planning for the next milestone, DA Week, and canceled sprint review day (so we could spend more time doing all of those things). Next sprint starts on Monday so it's back to business as usual and you'll see more teasing. Especially next sprint review day."

I was happy that Shepard and Kaiden (my LI) got to share a sweet and sorrowful fairwell on the battlefield lol I squee'd.
If I'd played the previous two games I bet I'd have been just as pissed though at how it was all rushed.

YEAH! Not that their teasing ever really hints at anything significant...
