I just heard...the sheer violence and atrociousness of it, is just...heart-wrenching, it's a side of humanity I wish didn't exist. I'll definitely be lighting a candle for those in Boston. Horrible, just horrible
. Especially when you consider that evil like that is happening in many other parts of the world.

I think Ferelden should be rainier, too, but that's just me.

I am also hoping that we do visit Ferelden at some point in DA3, whether rainy or not (but looking forward to the effects!)

Here's hoping! Newschmoo, are you getting it from amazon U.S.? I'm starting to think that amazon found itself "in an oversold situation," to coin the airline phrase. I'm wondering if it's all U.S. amazon buyers, or just some of us. Other sellers seem to have it for sale today.Newschmoo wrote...
Oh no! Hopefully you may get an email soon. I am hoping that everyone will receive it at the same time :-)

To keep our minds off of World of Thedas, here's a new Champions and Heroes. Now I think I start to understand the ME interrupts. LOL This would have made a lot of things easier!

Haha, love it! I did like the paragon/renegade actions in ME (my Shepard was mainly a paragon but went renegade when she had to).
Re World of Thedas I ordered it at Amazon UK. The email said that it would be dispatched sooner than expected based on the new release date. I can't see that it would be released earlier in the UK than anywhere else. It is odd!

You mean, is there a section just about DA3 in the book? I doubt it; from what we can see of the table of contents it's organized around the lore. In some cases, I think we can only guess what relates to DA3 since apparently most of the concept of art hasn't been made public previously, so we won't know what's new or old. It will be interesting to see where the timeline stops, since it does have events that happen after Act 3 (like the breaking of the Nevarran Accord in 9:40). So there we might learn something DA3-related or at least a summary of the happenings between 9:37-9:40 which may include stuff not covered in Asunder.deuce985 wrote...

So, I guess we were right. This pretty much confirms we'll be visiting multiple countries for alliances or whatever. Doesn't necessarily say dynamic weather but it does say we won't be seeing just night/day and sunny weather.

I just meant in general so I can look at all the known DA3 concept art again. I remember somebody posted one from Orlais awhile back in here with all the masks. Was that from the book or was it real concept art from DA3?

Allegedly that Orlais pic was from the book. But, did they paint it a while back or did they paint it for DA3? We may never know. Ben Gelinas said in that recent PAX panel that they have some central folder where they just dump concept art as it's developed and it was chock full of art that's never been released. So it seems that's where most of the art is coming from, although some is also supposed to be new.deuce985 wrote...

edit: the only ones I know are for sure, for sure in DA3 are those 3 they released specially (the warden, the aravels, the castle). There are a couple of others floating around that may be from DA3, like those two green, grassy ones that seem to show the same valley and one has a dude with the red Inquisitor cloak. Then, there are those two of the fade from the book, with the fiery spirit figures, one of which features a Seeker and both seem very DA3-ish.
