Or it could dovetail with it, kinda like how Hawke's story began before the end of the Blight. I'd love to know what Cassandra was doing around then.  (so I can stop speculating about it! LOL)

Ok, I had a look at Evil Within. Looks pretty cool, hopefully it won't be as dull as Resident Evil has become.

Well, the creator left Capcom and formed his own studio because he wasn't happy about where the direction games was going. He wanted to return to survival-horror roots. I agree on RE. Got a free voucher for RE6 on PC and it's just awful. Spiritually, it retains nothing from the previous games except the characters and B.O.W. enemies. Judging it purely as an action game...it's mediocre at best. Makes me sad to see where that franchise is.

Maybe they'll do a reboot like they did the original RE game(which is still the best in the franchise). That iconic first zombie encounter(definitely NSFW)...

Shinji Mikami? Awesome. He made Sweet Home, Resident Evil was originally supposed to be a remake of that game lol.

It's making me worry that Cullen might be. Fiona gets rid of him as a baby and he gets put into the Chantries care, flash forward a few years and at 15 he gets put into the Templar Order.... hell, if he is then he might not even realise that he is a Theirin. 

HA! That'll suck for Cullen in my playthrough if he is, his brothers been shagging his crush for years! :lol::lol:

I wouldn't be adverse to immediately stand in a high authority position but only if it's done right. By that, I mean it directly plays into gameplay. You own a castle, you command armies, you decide what alliances to form, etc.

Now that would be awesome. I'd personally prefer a pure blank slate character with nothing known in his/her background. Almost like a vagabond?

LOL, great minds! But yeah, someone like that would be pretty cool since you could head canon the characters past, what they did whilst traveling and why/how.

altho, i think it could be quite possible that we'll be a long, lost Theirin and our background choice will reflect how we've been raised.

That's good, I've actually always personally supported the factor of Fiona NOT being Alistair's mother. This helps the comics too this way, if the whole Theirin bloodline thing turns out to be important in DA3. Means we've got at least ONE more Theirin bastard running around somewhere.
