Most of those YouTubers spent like 2 years before they even got to where they are, then they got picked up by a bigger network like ZAM, Gamebreaker or TGS. Soooo you're on your way
Plus your production value/quality is SO much better than most people I know so you get a boost in my books lol.

Hey Nikki did you ever stream after that one night?
Not yet. Been pretty busy w/ work and school. Once the semester is over I'll probably have more free time to do more Livestreams. I'll try to figure out a day I can do that w/in the next two weeks.

Here's to hoping one of them features Cullen. Hey, we can hope right? lol
Let's hope. They know how much we want that though. And how much the other half doesn't want him. They may be saving that for the publicity.

This is worrying:
Ryan Loe: "More layoffs at BioWare. My friend, Nathan Plewes who worked there 13 years is out. Wow."
*Name removed*: "Oh noI had no idea there was going to be another round there."
Ryan Loe: "Yeah, round one was the temps. Round 2 the project. My guess is round three will be the studio."
*Name removed*: "That's very sad to hear. It's never easy when you feel like a number rather than a person."
Ryan Loe: "It never used to be that way. I blame a change in management at EA."
"Round 2 the project" ... Making cuts to that is very concerning indeed. ****ing EA.<_<
Did they say what studio? It was probably the Texas studio because SWTOR has steadily been seeing layoffs due to it being a failure in what EA wanted. I doubt they're laying anyone off in the Edmonton office.
IMO, it does sound like he's referring to the Texas studio. I think the first layoffs were on temp QA members. I don't think anything that really happens in the Texas studio has much impact on Edmonton and their projects.
*edit*
Just read his conversation and it sounds like Edmonton. That is concerning because that means new management at EA is cutting into the Dragon Age 3 project. EA's CEO stepped down. Worse is now those families have unemployed father/mothers...

Ooh, I really like this idea. Making it organic within the game... although... LOL that's A LOT of flags to go through. And I would figure they wouldn't want to limit it to just those that matter, so they don't spoil something. Hmm. Still, like it , tho.CENIC wrote...
Another idea I like even better, is having a NPC ask the protagonist/player about historical events. If a NPC asks, "Who is the current ruler of Ferelden?" the player can choose to respond with "Alistair" "Anora" "Alistair and Anora" "Anora and the Warden" "Alistair and the Warden" or "I don't know" for new players or players who don't care about imports. The tricky part of implementing this method would be finding a way to make it fit naturally into the story, the way Miranda's interrogation of Shepard at the beginning of ME2 or the Exile's conversation with Atton in KotOR 2 did. Despite that challenge, though, I feel like that would be the ideal solution.
Day 32
NPC: *sigh* Alright....when the Hero of Ferelden first came to Denerim, whom did they choose to inform the widow of her husband's passing?
PC: Seriously? What in the Maker's name do you need to know that for?
NPC: If we don't, then we'll get a bunch of angry letters about how we are ignoring the player's choi-erm I mean...for science.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
FOR SCIENCE YOU FOOL! What a ridiculous question.....

EA.... why am I suprised? ....oh wait, I am NOT. Freaking EA laying off people from BW, imo the best studio(s) they own, is just freaking stupid.

From everywhere by the sounds of it, but I know Ryan Loe was from the Edmonton BioWare.

LOL That's funny. Probably one of the many reasons Surana seems less 'popular' a choice!littlenikki wrote...
Very lovely! I always liked to play an elf mage more so than a human, until I found out about Hawke being related to the Amell Warden. Now I feel like I have to play a human if I'm making a mage. I have so many weird habits when it comes to playing Origins!
And you're right, it is especially quiet right now.

The only acknowledgement of her in DA2 was the barman telling Hawke that King Alistair had an elven mistress. Poor Surana!

It is kind of a bummer that there's no acknowledgment for Surana... altho I suppose that the reason Cullen reminisces is because Hawke is an Amell. "I knew an Amell once..." You'd think it would still be in his codex as something the recruits tease him about, tho, since the point is he had a crush on a mage, not that he had a crush on an Amell. LOLNewschmoo wrote...
My first play through of DAO and Awakening was my female Surana mage, so she has a special place in my gaming heart. I used that save import for my first playthrough of DA2 and there was no Cullen acknowledgement of her (I mean she was just as important as Amell).

It's awfully quiet at the moment. I hope the next comic comes out soon, the current one was left on a bit of a cliff hanger.
