I'd really like to see what he looks like in regular clothing, or light armor. All that bulky heavy armor up top makes him seem very unapproachable and hard to get close to... but I think maybe that's the idea.

I'm not really convinced that either of those would be your first pick... :P

LOL Of course, we sorta know... but it would nice to see what he would look like in clothes he'd actually chosen himself. I could almost see him feeling uncomfortable without his heavy templar plate.

LOL On more a serious note, I do look forward to having a bit more control over companion outfits...  I do wonder if the birthday suit will be an option again! With Hawke, it was always annoying that if you unequipped everything she still had a weapon in hand, no matter what.

MMG, I just picked up the ME Trilogy, too. It was on sale, and I'd been meaning to pick it up far ages, anyway. Now I'll actually get all the refences everyone makes about it in here

I'm really excited! I enjoyed ME3 so much, but a part of me just know that I wasn't getting about 50% of the experience I should have been getting. Sort of the way I felt when I played DA2 without having played Origins.

I got the ME trilogy for Xmas and it was good to play one game after the other (it took me a couple of months fitting it in). I got rather attached to my Femshep. It's a great game series, I almost feel like starting again!

I briefly played a FemShep and REALLY liked her. That's unusual for me as I usually enjoy playing male characters. Funnily enough, I had a dream last night wherein I was able to make a BroShep who had lovely hair and a cute face, and I was just SOOO happy lol About the only thing that upsets me about ME is how limited the CC is. It's like you either make Ultimate Soldier A or Ultimate Soldier B. No diversity in terms of appearance, hairstyle, etc. But on the other hand, it is easy to make a pretty cute FemShep. Go figure.

HEAR HEAR!! I hate heavy armor. For one, if that were real armor, they could barely walk let alone fight so fluidly. And as cold as Kirkwall was, you have to assume that Cullen was sweating under all that armor, seeing as how he stood out in the sun ALL DAY in the Gallows. And it makes each person look like a giant tin can; you get no sense of their body (and I don't even mean that in a naughty way). Women's heavy armor, not surprisingly, not so bad. But still ick.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it was like that for the companions, too. If you removed their weapon, a default one would pop up mysteroiusly. Soooo annoying. And if you modded them to be naked, they still carried their weapon.

I do like their underpants though, with the exception of human female. Guys have those cute pajama bottoms lol Fem elves had the body suit. Human women... gravity defying strapless bra LOL

I'm really hoping they'll all have casual outfits when we're between quests, like they did in Mass Effect. But I guess we'll see.

I find the casual outfits to be quite "ugly" in DAO and DA2, especially the noble clothing. I hope we get a better design and a variety of clothing in DAI if they give us the option of casual wear.

How awesome would it be to have a closet of options instead of being forced into your 'leisure wear'? Hmm... don't feel like wearing armor today. :languid stretch: I think it's ballgown with birdcage hat. Let's see if ruffians fall from the sky to attack me in THAT!  ;)

Sorta like they did in Mass Effect 2 & 3, you could pick from a bunch of clothing options to wear when you were off duty. So I guess maybe if you're bumming around in the castle or running around town between quests then maybe we'd have a choice of 4 or 5 outfits to pick from or something?

Not gonna lie, it's gonna look kinda weird if the companions (particularly the warriors) are hanging out in the castle/home hub chilling in full armor lol. If nothing else, I hope that our choosen LI will at least turn up for the sexy time wearing normal non-battle clothing lol.

Well, we can kill the enemies with our sense of fashion. ^_^

Since I play on the PC. I can just mod the clothing or download someone else's mod. PC is the master race afterall.

Yeah, alright, keep rubbing that one in my face, lol. Soon (hopefully) I'll have a decent PC to mod the **** out of those games!

:ugly snort:

More 'seriously,' if I don't get a mask to wear in Orlais... I'm throwing a fit. I know that it's a noble thing, but I just imagine it seeming rude if visiting dignitaries and the like did not also don a mask. (yes, I'm rationalizing... but dammit, I want a mask!) :bandit:

edited for confusing double and triple negatives...

Aw man, if we get to go to some sort of Orlesian ball and the companions come along too, then I hope they're all wearing masks... or maybe it would be more fun if they didn't, so that all the nobles will sneer at them and in turn they'd be more inclined to be rude back.

Nothing yet, although there have been a bunch of articles suggesting that there will be a DA3 reveal at E3. I haven't looked into it though, just in case it's bollocks and it doesn't happen.
