You know, I really don't think Cullen would ever make this face in a sexy bedroom situation. At least not until you'd been together for quite a while. He may not turn out to actually be a virgin but he sure acts virginal and uncomfortable with sex. I see his first few experiences with a new romance being either full of stuttering and misgivings and moments of almost running out the door (a la female mage origins) or full of hunger and passion and a Cullen we never see - one that's almost lost control.
I can't decide which one I'd like better.
also as a weird sidebar, it looks like he has a vampire bite between his thumb and index finger.

I see what you mean for the actual,er, act. But I could also see him with this face, because this is actually the afterglow. No matter how reserved or enthusiastic he is during... I could see sex with someone he loved blowing his mind. I'd imagine him all dreamy, cuddly, lovey dovey like this after... with an interest in trying it again.brushyourteeth wrote...

For me, nothing says OOC like this one:

OMG, I'd been wondering what was! LOL No wonder he's such a hotty...also as a weird sidebar, it looks like he has a vampire bite between his thumb and index finger.

Just because of that, I automatically couldn't help but find the picture so "wrong" ><. I never would've associated that scene with something dirty minded if I hadn't saw the edited version. lol.

Boy howdy, m!Hawke has some of the silliest expressions... at least, on Cullen's face. Incidentally, that's from Isabela swap, and bedroom eyes is from Merrill. I actually think most the Merrill swap scenes I did didn't really fit him. Personally, I found Hawke to be kinda smug and patronizing with Merrill for much of it. But I think a few worked.LolaLei wrote...

No kidding. Hawke & Izzy start their word tango right in front of him. Bet he's seen it all.
@MissRedZelda - it's a swap from Isabela romance scene. Hawke-> Cullen. And Izzy -> Hawke . So the real question, why would Hawke look at Iz that way. LOL

You know what, when I finally took a screenshot that ended up accidently being the one scene that one of you edited to make the swords look like lightsabers... <snip>

I must admit... I'm starting to actually like male Hawke. I just finished my first character on the pc version of Da 2, and I enjoyed playing as him even more than I had when I played him on the Xbox for the first time a few weeks ago. His expressions in Mota was amusing--especially when Tallis expected him to go "flirt" with the one Orlesian guy. XD. I don't know if it's just me, but I thought his humorous responses were pretty funny too. They seemed less corny to me than female Hawke's dialogue was for any type of response.

I've heard this a lot from others as well, specifically with MotA. I liked playing my m!Hawke, which was also my only completely sarcastic character so far. Plus, I thought he was smokin'. :innocent: But, I also liked my f!Hawke. I dunno... I actually liked her voice acting. I always felt like everything she said was much cooler than anything I personally could have said. But I also typically did the diplomatic choices with her... so that could also be part of it. Maybe Lola's right, and she's just not as good at the humor?Dunquixote wrote...

[EDIT: p.s. That reminds me. Dunquixote, did you end up getting your DA2 PC online profile to work? ]

Lola: I thought female Hawke sounded snobby too. The flirt dialogue with Anders made me cringe tremendously whenever I picked it. I'm not sure if I ever want to make another female Hawke. Maybe my issue with the dialogue was mainly because of female Hawke. I really had thought the dialogue in dragon age origins and awakening was awesoome. The banters were funny too; I haven't laughed at any of the banters in da2. Then again, i still think the script and dialogue could have been much better than it is.

There's some funny banter between Isabela, Aveline and Fenris and towards the end of the game some brilliant dialogue between Isabela and Varric.

I dunno what it is about female Hawke, she just sounds really up-herself and condescending to everyone, especially her friends... Or maybe I just notice it more because she has the same accent as me (minus the snobby tone of voice she has) so listening to her speak just sounds like she's being rude when I can say the same line without sounding like a jerk.

LOL Or maybe's its my stereotypical American ear, which hears anything said with an accent as sounding cool.LolaLei wrote...
