Well, all I know is that the big EA press conference is on the 10th, held in conjunction with E3. I'd guess they hold it the day before the main convention events begin to give it some spotlight. Apparently Ubisoft is having their press conference that day as well.LolaLei wrote...
Are they doing it for the 10th instead then??

If they're still aiming for Fall 2013 then it wouldn't be that Xbox thingy because that's for next gen games.

"Here's my pledge to you guys. You're going to go to exotic places, you're going to meet interesting people and make friends and enemies... and then you're going to have to face the consequences. And that's what's coming up next for Dragon Age."
This I like!

I have looked at last year's video of the EA Download Press Conference and they bring out their developers to talk about their games and show a trailer and demo. I would like to hope that Bioware will come out to talk about DA (I mean they showed a trailer and demo of Dead Space 3 and that came out in February this year). If not then that will mean it's not ready and will be released much later than anticipated.
I have assumed they will be showing it live on the EA website. Quite handy for me, as it will be the evening when it is shown
I saw that video above on the Twitter thread (not seen it before) and I am very pleased that we are going to be visiting a lot more places. Wiedzmin's map was quite handy.

Well, if there isn't one at E3 then who knows ho long we could be waiting. Is the EA press conference just for next gen titles?

Why you gotta hurt me like that Lola???

In effect it was a bit of a showcase. But I'm sure that next gen stuff will come up, bearing in mind the alleged partnership between EA and MS.
Edit - love the Gif!

*Name removed*: "Now, without asking for too much info on DA3 will there be a choice of race for our new character?"
Mike Laidlaw: "What we've announced is human only for now, but races are planned for the future."
Nowt new there, but that's all the latest DA3 news I could find on Twitter.

Lola-I'll take news of possible future race choices over the dead air we've been getting.

EA haven't specified if it's just gonna showcase the next gen games this time around then? I ask because people in the DA3 forum are presuming that if it is shown at the this EA presentation thing then it'll be a 2014 next gen release.
Nothing has been specified by EA as far as I am aware. Different gaming sites have speculated that they will be showing lots of new things and that these will be aimed at the next gen consoles. Lot of talk about Battlefield 4. One site I saw was expecting something from Bioware (VG247).
I would like to hope that they will not just stick to next gen stuff, because they cannot alienate the current gen console players (of which there are many), otherwise they will cry (myself included)!
Who knows?! I am trying to be positive.

Oooh, that's exciting! Let's just hope EA stays afloat long enough for Bioware to even be able to continue the Dragon Age series.

What does this mean?!?! Does this mean elves and dwarves could be available for DA3 CC?!
I've honestly been steadily losing interest in DA3. They are going to have to REALLY wow with me with something... the environment... companions... story. I'm bummed about CC. And I can't seem to get over it. I played Skyrim again this weekend after not playing for a couple months, and it was just such a joy to get to see the character I created.
Even if we don't get races, at least give us options to create different kinds of people... not the same guy/girl with a different hairstyle or skin color...

It certainly sounds like a round-about answer when he says "what we've announced is human only for now", it almost sounds like DA3 could end up with playable races at some point like DLC (as you suggested) or something.

I think not. Race choices has always been discussed with future installments in mind, but they haven't been this adamant about it (it's planned, as opposed to just something they're considering? That's great!).
