Really? I thought she looked a lot like all the default options in the un-modded game, lol.

Originally I gave her freckles, but it made her look really weird so I remade her after having to delete my last game that was full of glitches and lack of rose giving *glares at Alistair*.

Reading some posts in the main DA3 thread, some people seem to be pretty angry and call others cruel for trying to pair Cullen with a blood mage in the next game. I don't know, I don't think that was my intention. I just want to tell the storyline about redemption and forgiveness and about how Cullen learns to love another person for who they are instead of grouping every mage as abomination.

That's what I was originally trying to do, although she ended up looking more like Natalie Portman/Angelina Jolie hybrid LOL!

LOL, I can't see how it's cruel if he willingly decides to get into a romance with a blood mage, especially if it's of his own free will. If he doesn't want to he can always so no... or freak out and leave the party.

Thanks, that's Triss' hair from The Witcher 2. I wish I could do that with my hair in real life but the buns never stay in. I'm gonna have to practice making them not flop into pigtails lol.

Bobby pins are my go-to when trying to fashion out some difficult hairstyles. Lots and lots of bobby pins. I was even able to do this really cool, Victorian curly updo/fauxhawk one time.....had to practically walk around like I was balancing a teacup on my head though

Hehehe! I once used so many kirby grips (I think those are the same as bobby pins) that it took me two hours to locate them all when I wanted to go to bed. Bloody things. They always disappear after I've taken them out too, I'm starting to wonder if my cats are running off with them, like they do with my lip balms.

I just discovered that Greg Ellis is in Beowulf. I totally didn't know that, I was probably too busy perving at Angelina Jolie covered in custard.

I've just realised a fatal flaw in the Mage origin Fade segment. Why does it look like it's in an outside environment when my Warden had, at that point, never left the tower beyond walking the grounds? Baring in mind nowhere in the tower or around Lake Calenhad/the lake area looks like that, how did the demons or my Warden dream up that environment from her memories?

I suppose I could suspend belief and pretend that they pieced it together from all the times she read books about far off lands or something. *Shrugs*

Btw, has anyone else ever got those lines where Alistair talks about self-flagellation? I just listened to the clips on Tumblr, but I don't think i've ever had him say it in-game. :-S

I don't think the Fade portion is pieced together from your memories alone. Demons take everything they see in dreams and use that to shape the Fade.

I could never make a female custom Hawke look distinctive, yet I had no trouble doing it with male Hawke... then again, my male Hawke had long hair, Rivaini skin tone and a dirty great tattoo under his eye so he stood out a fair amount! Still, he didn't look quite as distinctive as default Hawke, but I didn't like his massive beard or how old he looked. His CGI version was a total babe though! 

I would say it's probably because they could make plenty of pretty female NPCs but couldn't make nice-looking male NPCs for anything, so a handsome Hawke is going to stick out in Kirkwall lol

It's weird, it seems that only now I've started to notice how many flaws DA:O has lol, either that or there's more on the PC version.

I also really wish the Warden had been voiced *dodges arrows*, that's probably blasphemous 'n' sh!t, but I miss hearing the protagonist interact with everything and seeing my Warden looking stone faced almost constantly is actually pretty annoying. Apparently there's a voiced Warden mod being made, but the person modding it said she's doing the voice herself, I might try it out... unless her voice acting is ****ing awful, in which case I'd probably end up getting really pissed off with it LOL!

Yep... well, now you guys know why I found DA:O so hard to play after playing DA2 first lol Voiced protag FTW!

Downloading Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I've never played it, so that'll give me something to do nearer to DA3's release.

I've synced my PC version of DA:O to this account, but my character isn't showing up. Does that update later or something?

It just takes time (but should show up well within 24 hrs). It is apparently a function of how often your profile is accessed and such. If you're worried, start it up again, make sure you manually log in, load and save your game, and then go back to you profile. Sometimes that helps kickstart it.

edit: You know, curiously, it shows you have DA:O Ultimate registered but it doesn't it list it under your DA:O profiles. I wonder... can you have two DA:O profiles?  I've never owned it for two different platforms.

I have that issue too, and it's been years since I started playing Origins on the PC. I never manually sign in though on the game, it just always automatically does for me, so that might be why.
