I'm sooooo ready for DA3 though, it's gonna be awesome having another voiced protagonist but (hopefully) with these "amazing" graphics and environment they've been gushing about, awesome places to visit and interaction with the companions that's closer to DA:O in style. Honestly, for me, the thing that would make it perfect is Cullen as a companion... I think I'm going to be even more disappointed than I think if he's not, lol.

Yeah, I'm thinking that if there's one error they need to correct, it's putting the Calling back in 9:10. I'm fine with them still leaving Alistair's mom a mystery... but at least then it's a physical possibility.LolaLei wrote...
Oooo, so Alistair could be Fiona's after all!

Jonathan Perry: "I wonder if this means we can put lightsabers in DA3. http://bit.ly/13daldG"
Jessica Merizan: "In the @dragonage #WritersPit -- oooooh man. I'm gonna need a cold shower. Sorry for the tease. No. No I'm not."
Also something interesting from the Twitter thread in regards to BioWare revealing that DA3 was officially being made:
Someone: "It was my impression that DA3 was only announced last year because the leaked surveys basically forced BioWare/EA's hand into saying something. If they had their way I don't think they'd have said anything at all."
Someone else: "Gaider said they announced before they had planned to ease possible worry the Doctors' departure may have caused. I think it was a combination of the two though."
Allan Schumacher: "Both contributed. At this point it was one of those "worst kept secrets" sort of thing (the DA2 Game Owner Board was pretty much discussing it anyways), and the news of Ray and Greg leaving would have just left the boards in even more disarray."
So there we go folks, now we have official confirmation that the survey leak was 100% legit.

I don't think that he's confirming the survey was legitimate. He's confirming that the sh!tstorm the survey whipped up forced their hand, along with the departure of Ray and Greg.LolaLei wrote...

Kinda like that thread in the forum that's supposedly a collection of "correct info we know is gonna be in DA3", a fair chunk of it is blatantly incorrect, but the devs don't bother doing anything with it because if it's just another form of speculation. That too could and has caused a sh!tstorm with the info inside, yet they haven't done anything about it. Plus, Gaider also confirmed that the survey was legit but had out-of-date info in it. Allan's post just confirms it a second time, in my opinion.

Indeed, it's suggestive and supports our long-held interpretation that it was a real marketing survey gone viral. My only point is that Allan's comment is still not a 100% confirmation.LolaLei wrote...
Yeah, but if the survey wasn't legit then it wouldn't have mattered because the information inside would be false.

True, but it's the closest we're gonna get for now. Plus, with DG's post about it I'd say it's definitely legit.

I hope some of these lessons will be seen in DA3. I know they aren't part of the ME team, but the ME3 ending fiasco is something I think all gaming companies should take into account.
