Yeah, I wanna know more about why the game is called "Inquisition" and what the protagonist's relationship to it is, in terms of why it's been reformed, whether it's a Chantry organisation, why the Inquisition is needed to solve the problem etc.

I wonder if they'll tell us about these background that we'll get to choose from?

I wouldn't want them to tell us what the backgrounds are, I think that should something we get to discover when we play, but rather I'd want to know why each background would lead us to joining the Inquisition (if we do).

It makes me wonder if maybe our new protagonist won't just be a set hero like Hawke, and instead it'll be more like origins where we have choice of different potential protagonists from different backgrounds. Chances are it'll be more like Shepard's introduction in which it'll be a set character but you can choose what his/her situation is and that's how you get picked to be the Inquisitor,

I wish we were getting playable origins back, hopefully we'll at least get a playable prologue before being thrown directly into the role of hero.

My, idk wat to do when I look at the companion threads and Cullen thread isn't conveniently right there. lol. I have to actually look for it.

I luvd playable backgrounds. Omg, did i luv that and think it was the coolest thing ever.

The backgrounds won't be playable they said, but.....for me..I really like a moment, or two, to settle into the world. It just helps me to know what I've lost.

Hawke, I had no idea. Rogue/Warrior Hawke was at Ostagar. That's all I know. Mage Hawke wasn''t cuz I guess apostate and all that.

But let me miss it. Let me know the ideal then snatch it away from me.

Hmm, I just don;t know if they have the resources to do that. Anymore.

If it's non playable, then good god I hope it's more meaty than what Shep got. This is the only game we have for this new PC. I wanna know their Story.

We'll see.

Same here, will it be an element that will start out as something more peripheral, that we're not really a part of until much later in the game? Or will we be literally involved with it from the start, maybe even an Inquisitor ourselves? Or will it maintain to be something strong in the game from minute one but we as the protagonist aren't actually a part of it?
Has it actually been hinted in anyway that the protagonist will be an Inquisitor? Or is that something fans have assumed?
Really I'm just looking forward to finding out how the "Inquisition" and the protagonist are linked and how it will be related to the game....also....*holds breath*...whether or not Cullen will be confirmed as a companion/LI :wub:, sadly, somehow I doubt they'd announce those kind of things in their first true reveal of the game . Still, looking forward to when the companions/LI's are announced :happy: 

The leaked survey said we'd be playing as the Inquisitior/part of the Inquisition, I'm inclined to believe the survey was real given some of the things the devs have said, but it's an old survey so that may have changed now. But anyway, that's where people have got the idea from, lol.

Soooo exciting that they're finally confirming E3 participation. Is there a schedule of any kind for it yet?? I'm going to assume this means the first reveal will be part of the EA press conference on the 10th... and then, more during the show itself??

What would I want to see? Hmm, good question.

Like you guys, I want to know the bare bones of the framing story. "You are the Inquisitor... blah blah... but you'll have to the lead the Inquisition from the beginning..." dun dun dun. Whatever. Of trailers... for how much I love CGI trailers, and hope we eventually see one, I think I'd rather see a gameplay trailer to see what it really looks like. First impressions are important, and I get the sense that BW wants to be very careful with our expectations this time.

...and seeing a female protagonist during the reveal???? Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease...

OK, so most folks should have their WoT by now. There are many Inquisitor-like figures throughout the book, (some here), but this one seems the most tantalizing with that spooky banner/symbol thing, that honestly looks like a Seeker symbol to me (from page 45, on Ferelden). Thoughts?

You know I'm increasingly struck with how often Seekers show up in the WoT concept art. Particularly now that Bro Genetivi suggests that the original Inquisitors were originally called Seekers even prior to the Nevarran Accord. I predict lots of "Seeking" in the next game, especially since "inquisiting" isn't actually a word, much to my chagrin.
