Where in Thedas would a sandstorm occur? I guess that place described in the Asunder novel, with the massive crater maybe?

Possibly the Anderfels. It's supposed to be harsh and forbidding like that.LolaLei wrote...

all i remebered abt anderfels was that it was a land of extremes...
wats up w/ the darkspawn issue? i understand orzammar's issue w/darkspawn, but sounds like the anderfels has bigger issues w/them the other places, too.

Gosh, going to Weisshaupt would be sOOOO cool. I dunno. If DA3 is about our Inquisitor building coalitions, the Grey Wardens are a force to be reckoned with. But, they're supposed to be neutral. Hmm. I would also love to have some insight/answers into what the heck the GWs were working so hard on during DA2.
Well, if we have a Warden companion, then we could be going there to recruit assistance like you said, on the advice of our companion. Maybe it's a part of his loyalty mission, or something along those lines, as well?

You know, I dunno. WoT repeatedly calls the area blighted, saying darkspawn are a constant threat and the rest of Thedas just ignores that fact. It also says something peculiar.rapscallioness wrote...

"The region's people, known as Anders, have been hardened by entire lives at war with darkspawn. They live in constant fear and vigilance of the surfacing blighted, and the nation is far enough away from the rest of Thedas that their plight is easily ignored." (p. 73)
The bolded part is verbatim. Typo... I guess? Suggests to me that a past Blight "blighted" the area, and it's still infected somehow??

huh, the surfacing blighted. sounds like...ppl that have been "turned". like a contagious zombie apocalypse. they must have a darkspawn factory around there somewhere.

i hope so. kinda like a darkspawn pest control unit. but they seem pretty capable. why haven't they destroyed it? or maybe there's some artifact there that correlates to the bigger pic we're trying to find out abt.
