i hope so. kinda like a darkspawn pest control unit. but they seem pretty capable. why haven't they destroyed it? or maybe there's some artifact there that correlates to the bigger pic we're trying to find out abt.

Maybe something linked to Corypheus because some people feel he didn't die and escaped from that prison in the Vimmark Mountains in the form of either Larius or Janeka so will be in the form of a Grey Warden.  I think he is part of the big bad!

In DA2 I did wonder why Carver and Stroud didn't help my Hawke.  It was never clear what they were up to.

that's right! altho, i kinda hope he isn't a part of the big bad. i kinda hope he turns out to be a sorta ally.

he did say to hawke that "you have made an ally here today". how exactly he became an ally when all i was trying to do was kill him. the body jumping thing was completely his own doing.

but i would luv to have an in depth convo w/Corypheus. the things he should know. even if he can't remember everything.

That was my immediate thought too! It'll probably be certain specialisations and the whole mage/templar war thing.

Where in Thedas would a sandstorm occur? I guess that place described in the Asunder novel, with the massive crater maybe?

huh. always pictured the anderfels as a cold, grey place where it was always rainy or overcast.

Yeah, some of the descriptions are little... contrary. It seems it's more like dry, desolate steppes, too hot in summer, possibly too cold in winter??
