Dunquixote: Yeah, now we know for sure he'll be in the game in some capacity, which is better than nothing!

Check out this: http://social.biowar.../8201931/2&lf=8. DG's about halfway down.

Jeesh, we actually have three pages of dev comments on our thread now. Seems like only yesterday we were freaking out about Tonia being our first. *sniff*sniff*

Aw, yeah that was crazy when she first popped up! Oh! Show Dunquixote that whole thing about who we thought might have wrote Cullen's dialogue this time round! (I can't remember the page, but I know I made an updated one).

R2: Christ, how could I forget! All it took was for him to pay a visit to change his mind though. I think he realised he was being needlessly cruel.

I think my memory was blocking it out. All I recalled was the warm fuzzies. I'd forgotten all the angst and pain his previous comments caused.

We've jumped about 7 pages today. That's the most it's moved in about a month!

I wonder where he got the notion that the Cullen fans were the self-entitled rabid ones? I mean, sure there's probably a few out there, but all the ones I've met seem to be very reasonable.

R2: Wow! You did a fantastic job at putting that together and LolaLei for helping. =) I bookmarked it so I can re-read it later. =)

And I love David Gaider's comment about us having a 1000+ page thread on a minor character.  Hehe. :)

It was hard because it's a bit of a tear jerker and it was so difficult not giving him what he (we) wanted, LOL!

*sigh* No idea, but tumblr seems to have that idea, too. Dunno who these Cullen fans are that are going out of their way to make others feel bad about not liking him...

I can imagine. hehe ^.^ I should really finish that one Cullen story that I started, but get rid of the sex scene... I just looked briefly at it, and I didn't realize I only had two chapters.  I thought I had written one fanfic and not two.  Posting here is giving me the itch to work on it again.  :P  Crap...  I need to edit out a scene from that one too... ><

I'd say that we're only really hostile when purposely provoked, but even then it takes a while for us to lose are tempers and that's only ever when they make personal attacks towards the fans.

By all means, say what you like about Cullen everyone's entitled to their own opinions/likes/dislikes/etc. Attacking fans and individuals directly and getting nasty towards the fandom instead of the character is not on, and that's when I tend to get hostile.

I read the comments made by David Gaider, and I don't think he was "attacking" the Cullen fans. I think he seemed to be teasing the fans in a friendly manner... But, I wasn't online when he had posted, so I might not be seeing the whole picture correctly.

Edit: Oh, wait...  Are you referring just to the fans?

Oh I've seen some Cullen fans get VERY defensive. Not necessarilly a bad thing, but every. "He's not my kind of guy" has sometimes been met with a lot of passion....sometimes TOO much. I mean I know I have gotten a little TO hot in my responses. I tended to apologize afterwards, but sometimes it's slipped through.

Edit: As Lola said most of the time I got angry because someone was attacking us, but at the same time I'd jump down the throats of innocent bystanders.

The only time I get a bit irritated is when they use the broad stroke of "they all just like him because he had a crush on the Mage Warden" or when you put a sensible reason across and they're like "but he raped and tortured mages". I mean, if he did do that then 1. Why did DG specifically say that Cullen was one of the good guys and 2. I certainly wouldn't be a fan of any rapey/dodgy character,

. Yeah, if there's one thing u learn quickly as a Cullen fan, it's that you gotta let people hate what they want to hate. LOL it's the attacks on the fans that I also cn't abide, which of course was the evolution of everyone of those Cullen threads in the D3 forums. They always became about the fans not the character.

R2: Exactly. And what annoys me is that you can bet your arse none of them would dare be so rude to people in real life, and if they were I'd be inclined punch their ****ing lights out.

Man, I'm in a really aggressive mood tonight lol.

R2, are you the longest remaining person on this thread? You were here from the beginning of the old one, weren't you?
