I kinda hope that the trailer will be like the one for Skyrim. Also, it'd be nice if they released a trailer featuring the female version of the player character.

I know Mark Darrah hinted that the the female protagonist will be part of the publicity, so maybe we'll get to see her this time round *fingers crossed*.

It does not help the song is basically a swipe at fans for demanding innovation and then swallowing generic drivel. Not the best song for an ad.

I'm actually hoping for much, much more than a trailer. I'm guessing here but they might show a trailer at the EA conference and then I'm really hoping they will have something to show on the floor during E3. Interviews, gameplay or features perhaps. If we are super lucky they will launch a new website for DA3. Perhaps I'm hoping for too much?

I was thinking about the worst thing they could do to us who are hoping for Cullen. I came up with two scenarios that would make me pissed of (its really hard to make me anything else but super hyped and happy, so this is a big deal):
1) Cullen IS in the game, he is even in your party, but... He is in the first few minutes of tutorial and is killed. They always use characters for tutorial purposes and then kill them of.
2) We won't see Culllen because Greg Ellis voiced another carachter.

I'm awful. Sorry.

Well, the second one you don't need to worry about since he already confirmed that he'd been in the studio recording Cullen's dialogue for DA3, lol.

I hate the soundtrack for this!!! Doesn't suit it at all.  Watching it though I thought, it was shame there wasn't more Duncan in the game, cause I thought he was great. I am hoping one day there may be a prequel game that features him a lot more.

I noticed earlier that Meanie posted a link to the trailer at E3 for ME3 .  They also showed gameplay too and the link to the whole section is here -

This makes me think that if gameplay is shown and it involves combat, then I hope you are going to see at least 3 companions (depending on the angles I suppose)!

Which is why I am rather excited for the EA press thing on the 10th!

Love the Cullen fan vid and good choice of music. Some of them looked like a Cullen/Anders hybrid. Can you mod Cullen onto another character? I shall have to check out some mods for DA2.

Wow, some good discussion yesterday! R2, thanks for liking to those companion stories. I'd only heard about the Anders one as well. Here's hoping for some female Inquisitor in the promo material.

I have to say, Origins was the first rpg I played that really made me feel like my character was an honest to goodness female playing through the story, and not just "insert opposite pronoun here". That's part of what was so special about it for me. I wasn't playing someone else's story like Hawke's or Shepard's, just the character I wanted to play.

Anyway, Lola, that was a great video Nice music and the quotes were well chosen. I never realised how appropriate that Varric quote could be for Cullen. It was really dynamic!

Yeah, I think if I had seen the trailer when BioWare first released it I would've assumed the game was aimed at "angsty" teen goths and that the game was probably ridiculous and incredibly unintelligent "lets kills all the scary monsters and get covered in gore", LOL!  Good job I discovered the game a few years late by chance!

Thanks! It's just a pity I don't have recording footage so that I could record my own footage in-game with a Cullen head swap the video would been 50x better then because we'd have some new clips to look at, lol.

Yeah, when I heard it I wondered if maybe it would apply to Cullen but I never gave it much thought. Then after our talk last night regarding how he could've easy become corrupt after his ordeal, especially under Meredith's command I realised that Varric's quote suited him perfectly.

I bet that whatever they show at E3, parts of the BSN will go up in arms by freaking out and presuming certain scenes in the trailer or protagonist info means that they've sold out.

Oh! Apparently that US show "Touch" that Greg Ellis was on has had its season finale and it appears that they won't be making anymore.

... I guess that Gives GE some free time to do more voice acting work *cough* Cullen*cough*

I would be disappointed if all they showed is a trailer like that DAO one. I'm expecting a full gameplay demo because if they do not show a gameplay demo at E3, it means the game isn't coming this year. Marketing has to hype a game up for holiday release and they usually start doing it around E3 reveals.

Deuce: I checked previous BioWare releases at E3 and usually they give some sort of demo trailer, sometimes with a CGI trailer to follow so in theory we should get a decent chunk of info... or at least the name/title of the new protagonist, lol.

LOL No, I'm determined to just be happy if that happens. <3 It would solve so many issues... like, for example, what he looks like in the new engine.

Of course, if they show one cameo... I'm actually predicting Flemeth. That's an easy tease for them, since we already know she'll show up, too. But, wow, Cullen would be...  <3<3

Lola that was awesome! Perfectly displays what I think of Cullen's moral character! And I looove Variic's monologue! Though I don't recall hearing it anywhere... I love your editing too! But the end! Oh the end! When you hear Cullen say, "I am not looking forward to this." OHHH MYYYY!  I have to admit to not having seen your other vids because I have a limited amount of data I can call down from the internet. Such is the limitation of a cell phone hotspot...  So I wouldn't know if you used all the same clips or not.  And I don't care! That vid is brilliant! Thanks for making and sharing.
