Why thank you! The Deep Roads banner is from the Nathaniel thread, which is somewhere here in the DA2 forums. 

You made the Cullen banner! I wasn't sure who it was that made it but now I can tell you personally how much I love it.  

LOL The Nate banner makes me wistful again over the fact that I NEVER get his quest in DA2 because of the Awakenings import bugs... *sniff*sniff*  And, thanks! I love seeing my banners popping up here and there amongst the Cullen nation.

So, here's a new shot of Cullen looking truly pensive. This is Meredith as Cullen from some swaps I'm doing for Lola.


Also, I was struck by the "go to hell" option I tried out on Meredith when I first said I didn't want the (pro-templar) On the Loose quest. She says to me:
"You are an apostate. One who operates freely only because you are a protector to this city. If I suspect that is no longer the case then I may decide your status needs to change."

I just find it so interesting seeing the specific reasons she gives for letting a mage Hawke run around freely. She's so soulful during those interchanges and so focused on saving/protecting the city. I usually think the main reason Hawke's allowed to go free is because she's protected as a noble and then the people's Champion, so this is a slightly different spin where Meredith sees her as useful. To a point.

She's already got it on her. I actually had to send Lola the shots where the sword was hiding a bit more... since I haven't taught myself how to deal with equipment yet.



But she doesn't seem looney yet...

Ah! I see. It seemed to have grabbed hold of Bartram's noodle much quicker than Meredith's. Or maybe I was just distracted running random errands for Paragon Toes and pantaloons. lol

PS - I just noticed in that swap, you can still see Meredith's crown thing in the shadow on the floor.

I was actually surprised just how many people related to that one and admitted to constantly chatting up Cullen for everything. It was nice to know I wasn't crazy...or at the very least, crazy alone!

I think she does, didn't Bartrand ramble on about selling it to 'that lady" in Act 2 during Varric's quest?

OMG, I never even thought about the shadows. Wow. I guess I would have expected the shadows to be calculated dynamically... but they probably don't  pay attention if you change the model. I never would have looked at that. What keen eyes you have!

LOL! I had that too and I was like, "Wha!?That's why you are being a complete cow to me!? Um, I'm with Garrus." It was even weirder to me b/c I had never played the first ME (it wasn't available for the PS3) and I didn't know you could romance her. My brother had to explain it to me.

I found the Cullen thread through google when someone had posted a screen cap of Cullen covered in blood with a caption bubble reading, "I'm Bloody Awesome!". My lurking started around then out of the sheer awesomeness of that one picture. I'd estimate around a year ago?

I'd heard people going on about this Cullen character after playing DA:O, but I didn't play the mage origins immediately so I had no idea who he was at first, and since I went straight on to DA2 it was a good few months until I rolled my canon Amell Warden and discovered that Cullen in DA2 was the guy with the crush in DA:O lol.

Anyway, after the whole ME3 endings I was looking for something to take my mind off of it, which is when I started replaying DA2 again and this time around I REALLY paid attention to what was going on in the game, which was when I began to appreciate his character for more than just being a pretty templar. I found him interesting and kinda sweet so I started to look around to see if anyone else thought the same, which was when I remembered seeing people talking about Cullen months before so I done a bit of research and then found this thread on page 35... the rest, as they say, is history LOL!

I adored Cullen in Origins. I was heartbroken with his ending. You know the 'he runs off like a crazy, murdering mad man' one? Anyway, in DA2 when you first hear about Knight-Captain Cullen, I didn't put two and two together. I actually thought it was weird that they named another character Cullen and thought it was very unoriginal on the writer's parts. Then I met him at Wilmod's camp, heard the voice and shrieked outloud in joy that it was my Cullen from Origins and he wasn't actually insane.

Gosh, that first line he says to Hawke "this is templar business stranger", I totally thought he was gonna be a bad guy!

I wish I had already played and imported an Amell Warden over for my first ever play-through of DA2. That very first encounter with Cullen would have totally made me think that he still bat sh!t crazy like his DA:O epilogues, it would've been a nice surprise to discover that he was a good guy whilst knowing his full DA:O backstory.

Yeah does seem to be a glitch haha  I see it as poor Liara's dad just saying some really embarrassing stuff much to her daughter's humiliation... "DAD! But s/he's not my boyfriend/girlfriend!!" Shepard in the corner with an awkward expression lol

I came to Cullen thread when the Fen thread got boring  What's funny about Cullen is you can't get tired of talking about him, perhaps because his story is still so incomplete... the speculation is neverending.
