Yikes.
Looks like Kirstoff!Justice face over Anders' face?

Maker's breath, poor Anders! His...left eye is a bit...droopy...*own eye waters in sympathy*

I've been going through the games again and I noticed how utterly underwhelming some character customization is. Specifically hair and adding things like tattoos. Some of the hair makes sense for the setting I guess but would it be bad to see something like a fauxhawk in that era with a medieval twist? I kinda understand they want to keep them realistic for the setting but some are just awful. I want more scars, tats, and different styles for the hair.
If all we're going to get is the customization on the face I think we should get a lot more options. Bioware did say customization will be a major focus. I'm guessing that includes the character creator.

I managed to meet Steve Blum at one point. He's an awesome guy.
I guess it's just kinda hard for me to see Cullen as bi. I've always headcannoned that he and my female Amell Mage had a thing going on in the Tower. But then the events of DA: O occured and she had to leave. I dunno, I've just always seen him as straight. (shrugs)

I wish we had a mix of characters that were gay, straight, and bi. So does David Gaider, but the resources just aren't there right now, so I'm getting adjusted to the pc-sexual way of doing things. But I really, really liked the way things were done in ME3. Inevitably that would mean that someone was disappointed that they couldn't romance a character the way they wanted to, but I think most people would say that their sexuality is an important part of who they are, and if DG wants the writing to eventually reflect that, I hope the fans are mature enough to respect his creative decisions.
Will I be disappointed if my crush is gay? Totally. But I'll have a gay buddy and learn to appreciate that character even though he can't offer me what I want, and even though he's different ---- I think it could go a long way toward teaching DA fans to appreciate gay and bi folks in real life, and to understand that no one can change their sexuality to suit you (it doesn't matter how hot you are -- it's not a choice). The pc-sexual thing is purely fanservice -- it doesn't actually acknowledge bisexuality or homosexuality as a person's choice, (you can currently plug your ears and pretend most characters are straight) and that really bugs me.
There's my very strong opinion on the matter, and I know it's not everybody's, it's just mine -- so no tomatoes, please!!

Yes! Yes! That's exactly what I want in DA3. BrushYouTeeth, you took the words right out of my mouth

You know what I'm realizing? People hit on you left and right in ME. (Just friendzoned Allers... felt good lol). But Anders hits on them and people flip their sh!t.
I do hope we get the heart option or something similar for DA3. I'm going to freak if I miss that ONE line that trigger's Cullen's or anyone's romance. Halfway through the game, I'm wondering why he's still treating my PC like his bestie and not his would-be lovah.
Batteries, you are soooo much more talented than me - LOL. And I actually really like the slow-mo shot. He just needs to have long, wet hair that he can flip in that scene. Mmm!!Batteries wrote...
So uh, I'm really carppy at using image editing software, but I've been cursed with a case of the bored. I have no idea how to make it faster or shiny or anything.
But I figured since I hang in the Cullen thread, here's a Cullen from one of my favorite scenes of him.

Between him and Vega my Shep was having some serious self-esteem issues. LOL

**edited for clarity!
They weren't really romanceable as a FemShep, either. Joker turns you down and Vega admits that he was bluffing when he flirted and has to get drunk and be repeatedly pressured by Shep to have sex... then seems regretful later. So... you definitely didn't miss out much there.motomotogirl wrote...

It breaks my heart that Joker and Vega were not romance-able, as much as I love dear Kaidan lol But just my luck, ME being ME, they'd be straight![]()
I kind of bow out of the bi LI discussion these days because I've already said my part and I'm sick to death of talking about it. And some people just want to talk about it over and over again, instead of agreeing to disagreeing. Because that's all you can do with this issue is agree to disagree. I've never seen anyone change his/her mind on it. Also I think we had pretty much decided not to talk about it in the Cullen thread b/c it was a sensitive topic. Kind of like the ME3 ending lol

And I did remember you suggesting we not talk about it again, but I thought you'd changed your mind when I saw you chime in. Sorry!
The ME team can be such trolls! Between Joker and the Refuse ending... seriously, those guys and girls are brave because WEAREBIOWAREFANSANDWEWILLFINDANDTRASHYOURCAR.motomotogirl wrote...

No biggie lol Oh yeah I know they aren't romance-able, PERIOD. I'm actually surprised you can even hit on them as FemShep!
Thinking about FemShep playthrough after this and can't decide between Liara and Garrus. I KNOW GARRUS FANGIRLS, JUST CALM DOWNHe has just been Shep's bro for so long it's hard to see him otherwise. But I had been leaning towards Liara for so long... until I finally played ME1 and 2. And... she sucks in those. But I love her in ME3. But Garrus never sucks; Garrus sticks by your side through thick and thin.
I wish Tali were romanceable to FemShep *pout*
I'm trying to think of something DA-related to add to this but nothing's coming to mind lol sorry for hijacking teh thread with ME nonsense yet again *hangs head*
