Oh ****! We're nearly at page 1800 and I haven't made my thing!

You could always just paste Cullen's head onto Fabio's body, that always works for a good laugh :P He has to have the long flowing hair though!

It's like you read my mind. I've literally just done that super quick!

You could always work on it, post it after, then we can add it to a post already published on pg 1800? We did that for a lot of the stuff on pg 500

I think I'd be more annoyed if he was
unromanceable because he was still being emo over the Warden/A dead
"almost" Warden than I would be if he'd taken a chastity vow.

I'm sure there'd be a line up behind you on this one!

I would love to have some sort of blood mage as a companion to do some sort of ritual to remove the Lyrium from Cullen's veins. Could be interesting.

I wonder if it's possible to wean a Templar off lyrium/remove it from their system. I doubt the writers would let us do that though, since they like to keep a little bit of angst/drama in their romances.

I think the penalty for romancing Cullen would be that eventually he'll end up lyrium addled. In the same way that romancing Alistair means that you might lose him if you make him King or eventually lose each other to the taint. In fact, anyone the Warden romances will lose him/her prematurely due to the Calling/taint. In Hawke's case whoever he/she romances runs the risk of also ending badly, for example, romancing Anders means the penalty for your choice is putting up with Justice popping out at any given moment and the unpredictability of his behaviour/personality to the extent that eventually Anders might be lost completely as Justice takes over.

I like that aspect to the romances though. There's always a penalty for your choice of LI and regardless of how much you want to save them/adore them, love can't concur all. It's a good way to make the player stop and think for a second- would my protagonist REALLY be willing to risk everything by romancing said character.

Is it bad if I don't really want him to be cured of his Lyrium addiction? I mean, not that I approve of addiction in any way shape or form, but it would be interesting to have that obstacle with one of our companions, that come into play in certain situations. Like if we were to go into the deep roads at some point, if Cullen is in our party the unmined Lyrium has a negative effect on him, to the point where he may have to excuse himself or our PC is forced into action to help him from slipping into insanity. I emphasize here that I do not find addiction as a source of entertainment, but in a video game setting I just find it would add to the complexity of those we travel with. Similar to Anders starting to lose it in the Legacy DLC, and Hawke being forced to fight him to stop him.

That would certainly be interesting. Especially if the protagonist had to do something really morally questionable in order to get the lyrium for him, like kill an innocent or put his/her life in danger to get it.

having him duck in the middle of a quest reminds me a lot of Isabela with the Qunari, where she'd take off, or when a personal quest resulted in the character needing to leave. I really liked that aspect of the game, it kept me wondering and even guessing who would leave and what I'd have to battle without an extra part y member.

It would be a neat thing, to have to remove him from your venturing party if you have to go into the deep roads. Or that he freaks out when you're near some sort of Lyrium.

I'm still liking the Blood mage idea. Doesn't mean it could go well...maybe it messes with him some how...Or maybe he needs the old Lyrium out to have one dose. Which in turn, maybe ends his dependence on Lyrium.

God, sorry for my spelling! I'm on the iPad right now and autocorrect is my own personal hell, especially b/c the site isn't really set up for a tablet and I lose lines of text.

Oooo, especially if he literally stops and looks kinda unwell/urgent, mumbles some excuse and runs off. We'd be all like wtf just happened there, and then when we return to camp or wherever we'd find him in a bit of a story state and finally he admits that he's having lyrium withdrawals but didn't want to tell the protagonist because he's ashamed of what he perceives to be a weakness/didn't want her/him thinking less of him (particularly if he's sweet on the protagonist at the time).
