I don't remember being held hostage by Cullen at any point.

Worst I can say I've seen myself is "lol stoopid wimminz".

LOL What? Didn't you know that stoopid wimminz people only like Cullen because of his creepy obsession with ardent passion for Amell/Surana, who was his prisoner one true love?

oh whoops. I was only thinking of DA2. :innocent:

I don't know, I can see why some people may find his crush a little creepy (he does watch you for a living), but I never saw what the big deal about it was.

We spoke, he stuttered, he ran away, I laughed.
Tsk tsk, Cullen and his wily rapey ways.

Then he was tortured by blood mages and we spoke to him, like, right in the process of it. Of course he's going to be cray cray about it. :alien:

LOL Yeah. It also doesn't help that the writers fanned the creepy flame. But whatever, he's grown into a really interesting character, which foster some really interesting insights and discussion ... when shallow insults aren't being thrown around about him and his fans. *sigh*

It makes me want to write a high school AU about Kinloch Hold. With straight-laced freshman, Cullen the hall monitor, stuttering everytime he meets cheerleader Solona Amell.

Haha! "We spoke, he stuttered, he ran away, I laughed. Tsk tsk, Cullen and his wily rapey ways."

That's the best thing I've read all month!

Geez, Lola. What an awkward comment from someone! As often as we hear about the "crazies", I wonder how many rogue insane Cullen fans must be out there that we don't know about. Passing out flyers, spray painting Templar graffiti ... kidnapping naysayers and hiding them away in reconditioning camps. Boogety boo! We're coming for you! lmao!

Yeah, I was like "Meh, easy mistake to make!"

^Agreed! That made me laugh out loud. Image IPB

Perhaps the rest of BSN thinks that Cullen fans are crazy simply because they don't know what to make of anyone who is friendly, respectful and interested in having meaningful discussions no matter what position someone takes. From the time of the fist Cullen fan thread you guys have always been the most welcoming group on BSN. Friendly, respectful and welcoming....that's certainly not normal around here! Image IPB

Oooo, here's something interesting:

*Name removed*: "Wish I could see both my online and offline hours on a game. I have to be 1000+ into #DA2"

Aaryn Flynn: "Wow!"

*Name removed*: "LOVE Dragon Age. LOVE IT. Between Origins and DA2 I have to be at least double that number :)"

Ryan Loe: "So far DA3 is my favorite, and it's not even done yet. In my opinion it has the best story and characters."

*Name removed*: "Must you torture me? I can't wait till DA3 is released. One of my most anticipated games."

Aaryn Flynn: "If you sunk that much time into DA:O and DA2, I'll bet you you sink twice that into DA3 all by itself."

Sounds like it's going to be a big game! Ryan Loe's comment was interesting too, man I can't wait until E3!

Just got another comment on my Cullen speculation video saying that the fangirls would be pissed if he wasn't a romanceable companion. I made it VERY clear that I too was a "fangirl" and that the majority of us wouldn't flip our **** if he wasn't.

Seriously, it's pretty obvious that I'm a Cullen fan. You've gotta be pretty ****ing daft to pull the "fangirl" card on my channel.

DA2 did feel pretty short compared to DA:O, so I reckon DA3 will maybe be slightly shorter than DA:O, but will maybe have plenty of replayability. I'd personally like it to be longer than DA:O, but that's just a personal preference.

What makes you think it will be shorter than DA:O? Tweet above makes it sound longer...

Cos one of the devs (can't remember if it was Mike Laidlaw or Mark Darrah) once said it would be longer than DA2 but shorter than DA:O. Admittedly, it does sound like that's changed though.

Ah, don't recall that. Just remember someone (Cam?) during sprintreview talking about how big one of the levels was. Don't remember the specific anymore either, tho.

It's hard to recall all the details now. Kinda feels like all the little dribs and drabs of info has been going on for longer than it really has.

Gah , I know. Esp hard when those dribs and drabs typically don't make much sense. LOL

Just laughing that the necro Cullen thread in the DA3 forums is now becoming meta. Someone posted one of the DA confessions about how sick they are of hearing about Cullen #SelfFulfillingProphecy

Haha! Seriously, good for them. Perhaps it will make their game more fulfilling. For the record, if given the option I'm going to have to murder knife Cullen once for the achievement. I'm anal like that. Then I'll probably feel awful and go back a few saves to make things right. lol

Oh man... yet again... why the frak does anyone care how someone else plays their game?  I mean, good on 'im. Everyone should have a chance to murderknife their companions. "To fans" ??? Seriously?
