I've still never done my hardcore murderknife playthroughs. It seems there were fewer opportunities for that 'solution' in DA2 than in DA:O...? Is that right?LolaLei wrote...

Haha! Seriously, good for them. Perhaps it will make their game more fulfilling. For the record, if given the option I'm going to have to murder knife Cullen once for the achievement. I'm anal like that. Then I'll probably feel awful and go back a few saves to make things right. lol
I'd do it for science, I like experiencing all the options and outcomes so I'll definitely do it once.

LMAO, someone in that other Cullen necro-thread was like "To fans, I'm killing him first chance I get!" Bloody brilliant!
*Shrugs* I guess he thought we'd freak out? I responded to it for a laugh anyway.

As a (probably inadequate) apology, I come bearing a morsel of pseudo-info. Kinda... if you squint. Metacritic has posted an entry for DA:I, and it includes cover art that looks a lot like Morrigan. Also, it shows a release date of 2013 and it's shown for the PS3, X360, and PC platforms, so maybe we won't all have to go out and buy new gaming rigs. The PS3 one is the only one that has cover art posted.

Geez, Lola. What an awkward comment from someone! As often as we hear about the "crazies", I wonder how many rogue insane Cullen fans must be out there that we don't know about. Passing out flyers, spray painting Templar graffiti ... kidnapping naysayers and hiding them away in reconditioning camps. Boogety boo! We're coming for you! lmao!
In all the time I've been a DA fan, I've only met one crazy Cullen fangirl. She used to come to this thread, sure you all know her. Always talking about things she wanted to do to Cullen's... nether regions. In any case, that was one instance, and I think we were all pretty repulsed lol I've never seen that anywhere else on the BSN, on YT, or on Tumblr.
How many times do we call them out on their bullsh!t, too, and they don't answer? "Where are all these rabid Cullen fans you're encountering?" we ask. And they don't answer. Hmm, imagine that.

Does anyone have DG's exact quote/where from when he said that Cullen's DA:O epilogues were retconned?
I don't believe he's directly addressed Cullen's, but here's where he says all epilogues are "hearsay and rumor."

Again, there may be a small grain of truth in the DA:O epilogues, that Cullen *really* needed to recover from his ordeal. In Witch Hunt, we find out he went to Greenfell's chantry to "level out." Then apparently he went to Kirkwall. Still, I don't see either epilogue being strictly compatible with these facts. (1) Obviously, Cullen isn't KC of Kinloch Hold after Greagoir. and (2) If Cullen escaped from prison after killing apprentices, I don't think they'd let an "escaped madman" go free afterwards.

You know what's ironic. All the hate threads have actually made ME tired of Cullen. They talk about him SO GOD DAMN MUCH that I'm practically sick of the character at this point. People who hate Cullen talk more about the character than we do, in the ACTUAL FCUKING CULLEN THREAD.
It's pretty true. And even though anyone who's a regular poster and pays attention will recognize that we're actually some of the kindest people on the BSN, I definitely feel like I've been pushed to my limit lately.
Do we need an official strategy? Do we want to just push back? Kill them with kindness? Close ranks and wait till he is or isn't revealed as a companion? Because I know I really did get a little harsher than usual last week, and we all know that it only takes one person to brand the whole fandom. For the record, I'm fine with whatever you guys decide.
