Depends on how many I can get out before E3 and/or if they announce anything at it that'll make the others obsolete.

Makes sense. Just hope you'll manage at least one more, cause they're fun to watch (love editing and music choices, not to mention the content) and can't wait for more cats cameos :]

So I have been MIA from BSN for months now. And coming back whats the first thing I see in the Dragon Age 2 section? This thread alive and kicking and almost hitting up 2,000 pages. Honestly, I thought this thread would settle down by now and such but damn. You guys deserve an award or something I'm guessing you guys will never get tired of Cullen.

There's one thing that's still bugging my brain. We didn't play DAO or DA2 for nothing...there's a reason for each game. DAO, introduces us to the Wardens and their Lore. We are informed on how mages, elves, dwarves and even humans live together within Thedas.

DA2, we learn about different places in Thedas. Kirkwall, Orlais...so on, we learn a little more about each area. But we're also shown a lot of corruption within the Templar ranks.

Then we have our Warden and our Hawke. I don't think that at the end of DAO they new exactly what road our Warden was going to go down...but at the end of DA2, we're told that both the Warden and Hawke are 'gone without a trace'.

Why's this such a big deal? Think about...really. Why?
Just because the Warden killed the Archdemon and Hawke defeat Meredith...how does this connect them in anyway?
If you didn't play an Amell Warden...What else would connect them?

The only thing I can think of is Flemeth and Anders. And for me, I don't think that's going to have a major factor in the next game. Anders actions, maybe. But other then that, I'm still boggled.

I'd like to think that maybe Hawke went looking for the Warden. Why? Maybe there's something involving magic, darkspawn or the Veil. The two could compare note...and that lead them to where they end up. Maybe they intended to stop something.


But other then that...why should anyone care that they're out of the picture. There has to be more to it then that...

Agreed. I've been trying to get my most recent Cousland playthrough done for an import, but I just can't play it more than a few minutes before it starts to feel like a chore. The mood to go back to it seems to come and go as it wishes

Aw thanks, I was trying to make her look like me but front on she looks kinda like a cat LOL!

Honestly, I think these two characters "disappear" because BW does not want to have to come up with an explanation as to why we, the players, will never see them again.

There are too many different endings for these characters, so creating a canon ending would just enrage people. So BW simply says, "They disappeared."

I guess that's better than brutally killed without our input. I'm sure one of the devs said they'd explain Hawke and the Warden's whereabouts/disappearance in DA3.

6. Show one LI? (this would have to seem obvious in the footage, I guess... Kissing? Flirting? That'll be a judgment call)
7. First trailer is just a teaser, showing little, or meatier, and showing a lot?
8. According to reveal verbiage and footage shown, main theme of game is: mage-templar conflict, mysteeerious Inquisition dun-dun-dun, aaaaah veil rip/demon incursion!, or other?
9. Who do you think will narrate the trailer, if at all?

I play Halo for the story. 

To be fair, I feel Halo 4 is definitely taking the series in a better direction by making John an actual character instead of the lame old "You ARE the chief! Lol!"

Speaking of Halo 4, I guess DAI can do something similar to spartan ops? It definitely added to the game, in my opinion. Especially those lovely cinematics, those were amazing.
But I'd imagine most people would not be happy with another character besides the DAI protag having to do anything with major plot points.



I have no idea what to expect out of a Dragon Age multiplayer.

Better bangs for females +100. I would of liked more short (Think Cassandra) hairstyles too.

About playing mostly male protags in games... Inherntly, I do not have an issue with playing as a male. Given a choice, I'll usually play as a female, but I definitely found myself more connected personally to my male Hawke than any of my females. The game also depends on how it treats its female characters as well. Are they there for a reason other than to be T & A for my manly man character? 

I actually got my boyfriend to play DAO and his first playthrough was a male Dalish elf who romanced Morrigan. He recently picked it up again and is playing a female elf mage romancing Alistair. He actually likes Alistair (thank the maker), so he's having a lot of fun playing a different game. When I ask, he's actually really surprised that a lot of guys have issues when they have to play a female character.

My fiancé always plays as female Shepard now and surprisingly his romance of choice is Garrus! He also always saves Kaidan instead of Ashley, lol!

@Batteries if you like Halo 4, I recommend watching Halo Foward Unto Dawn. Surprisingly good movie. It's a prequel to Halo 4. It's on US Netflix if you're interested in seeing it. I think it's a web series on Youtube too? Not sure about that.
