I can't believe how excited I am about this thing I'm working on. I'm all a-tingle. It's so very odd of me. #DA3

It's gotta be something evil or gut wrenching if Gaider is excited about it!

No worries. I can understand the emotional response to the Cullen hate, no matter what day it is! Sadly, there will always be another chance to trot out such a response. So now you're ready!SamaraDraven wrote...

Sometimes I wonder if they purposely ignore any legit posts in favour of anything, no matter how tiny, that suggests the fan-girls are mad/obsessed/etc. I think the thing we need to remember is that in the grand scheme of things none of this matters. We either get Cullen as a companion/LI in which case we've got our wish so no matter what crap they give us, we've still essentially "won", or we won't get our wish but we still know he's in the game thanks to GE and that survey leak spilling the beans, in which case it's still a minor win on our part considering a lot of DA fans never get that lucky.
Perhaps that's why they're so annoyed? They no that either way Cullen's gonna be in the game, regardless of if he's killable or not, the bugger still managed to squeeze himself in there whilst a lot of their choosen characters and ideas haven't had the same opportunity.

hehehe... That's good to know. I usually keep a cooler head and I hate being over emotional so...
On another note, I keep coming to this look for Cullen's casual dress. Or maybe ceremonial outfit? In my mind it suits him. Only it's usually in colors of Chantry red or blue - but not both! And it has the gold embroidery. I feel weird posting what pics I do have of Cullen since I have none that don't belong to someone else from here because I get all the good stuff from you ladies.

Agreed. Your planned thread was definitely reasonable, it's just that it doesn't matter how reasonable or eloquent you make your posts, they simply won't listen.

That's an excellent point, Lola! Thanks.

That's an excellent point, Lola! Thanks.I guess the recent barrage of anti-Cullen sentiment was making me feel like all I was doing when I logged in was reading those threads - the better to equip myselfto defend our honor! hehehe... It was consuming too much of my time on here and I have so little as it is. Started to feel like I needed to fight back or give it all up. But I like it here. So I'm just going to stay in here for now. Even seeing Cullen hate centered topic names gets me looking and then I regret it. So I changed my homepage for this site to this topic so I don't even see other thread listings unless I want to.
Yeah, it gets to me too. Sometimes I deal with it better than others but it depends on what mood you catch me in, LOL. I guess this evening I'm feeling in a reasonable diplomatic mood.

What do you all think?
I actually recall posting up a picture of what I'd like to see him wear once. I dunno why, but I really love the idea of him wearing black, I also would prefer him in less bulky armor, but he's a tank so that's unlikely.

I thought at first it wasn't masculine enough but Jorah makes the skirt look good

The fourth is nice. A bit... raggedy though. I think Cullen would have better clothes.

That's why I said rugged and manly, because they'd be legit and not clean crisp "I've just made these for a day of LARPING" stuff.
Well, if he turns up after escaping a dungeon he's not gonna be looking shower fresh, LOL!

But like once he's re-established himself and is traveling with the PC. I think he would have better clothes.
I hope they do away with the big clunky armor completely. I hate it. It's so fantasy RPG.

Well, I'd be happy whatever way they introduce him if we end up getting him as a companion/LI, lol.

I like your dungeon idea. Then he'd be all indebted to our PC lol
Until he realises that there are mages in the party/you're a mage and then he'd be all like "ah sh!t."

I hope they do get off duty outfits, even if we only see those in cutscenes. I swear if Cullen shows up in his big clunky armour for the sexytime scenes I'm gonna be very displeased.
At the very least, they could not be armed to the teeth after the fact.
Fenris standing over the fireplace armed with a giant hammer was awkward.

That... was such crap. And I can't fix it by modding... because he changes his "outfit" automatically after sex. So whatever outfit I gave him is replaced with giant spiky armor + weapons. <_<

I'm a light armor kind of gal anyway. Big and clunky looks good for the "official" stuff like holding court and making a show of it but toss me a set of Skyrim's thieves guild type leathers and I'll be thrilled.
Agreed. Granted, heavily armored soldiers have their place... ON THE BATTLEFIELD. Not walking about the Gallows day in and day out.
