OMG!  I can't believe I never heard about that. Oh man, Justice is waaaaay creepier than he was in Awakenings. How sad!

Both of them are so corrupted. You can tell it's not Anders talking even before Justice gives Hawke a bollocking.

wow. I wonder, does Justice pop out like that if you're not romancing him??  I'm realizing now that although I prefer rivalling Anders, I just can't bring myself to help him plant the bomb anymore. I can't stand the accusation from Sebastian that I 'knew about this'! LOL

I'm terrible, I can't stand to see any of the companions in a bad way.

Which kinda sucks because it means I either lose Seb or Anders and since my Hawke romances Anders and knows that it's Justice that drove Anders to bomb the Chantry, I let him off and lose Seb.

Yeah, and you don't even get a kiss for it! And if you romance Seb, you don't get anything! Not even a hug!

All I'm saying is that if you can romance Cullen in DA3, there better be some proper snogging and canoodling going on.

Ha ha! I like to feign ignorance and pretend that my Hawke really truly believed he was working on a potion to seperate himself from Justice. Not so far off from my very first DA2 playthrough, b/c yeah, I really did believe his lie and I really did think the potion was going to kill him. Had no idea what he was really doing, even with the chantry. Sigh. Tam Hawke, so naive...Image IPB

LMAO me too! I can't remember what I done wrong during my first play-through, but I never got his dialogue where he admits that the potion wasn't a cure to separate him. So when the Chantry blew up I was like "Oh! Whoops. I guess you're forever stuck being a miserable bastard then!"

I always reason that my pro -temp Hawke is absent from Kirkwall when Cass comes because a) she has gone to try and save Anders from himself, yet again...come on, she LOVES him, and B) with her not being viscount, Sebastian will hopefully leave Kirkwall alone and hunt down Hawke and Anders instead of open war with an already ravaged city. Mare Hawke is a lady of the people!Image IPB

LOL, he'd be wasting his time waging a war on Kirkwall when Hawke's long gone! Silly Seb!

It's funny to think that the only reason they're on the run is essentially due to Anders blowing the Chantry up.

LOL, I had that moment when the chantry blew up where I thought I played the game wrong! I was pretty sure that the mages were the 'good' side and the 'templars' were the bad side. The the chantry blew up and I thought "Jesus! That's pretty bad! What did I just do?!" Now, I see that both sides are a loovely grey area of neither all bad or all good.

I totally didn't see it coming at all, despite the near constant hints that Anders drops. That's why I always love the first ever play-through of BioWare games, everything is always such a surprise and I always end up ballsing something up massively!

Playing blind is always the most exciting. I try not to reload anything on the first playthrough, though, I admit I like to play over the romance options/dialogue to get the optimum results. It's really hard not to!

Agreed! I like the idea that after years of extreme restraint within the Order, when he does finally give in to his feelings/desires it'll be him who makes the first move. In theory it should be pretty heated/feverish... or maybe I'm just a perv. Probably the latter. :innocent:

I hope he isn't gonna be too shy if he is romanceable. I mean, I like the thought of him being a little flustered at times but I'd like to see him take charge and be bold where it counts. He does seem like the type of guy to take action once his minds made up, so hopefully that'll extend to the romance too.

Did the devs say that we're getting ten companions this time? I can't remember exactly. Or maybe it was eight. Based on the leaked survey pictures, theres:

Cassandra
Cullen
Cole
Dorian
Sera
The Iron Bull

Then there's also what looks to be a Grey Warden and an Orlesian scribe. Which makes eight. Do you think Sebastian will be a companion? Apparently his story isn't over yet.

This link mentions having a possible 12 companions.

I'm not sure. The survey leak says 12 but the devs said that there wouldn't be that many, they didn't confirm how many we'd get though. DG also said that we shouldn't pin our hopes on those characters being companions otherwise we'd be disappointed... whether that counts for all, or just some I've no idea.

Personally, I think Fenris's friendmance is the best romance of the game, especially if you are a mage and/or pro-mage. Ander's however gives the best kisses, but I like being pounced rather than doing the pouncing myself! Image IPB

I would have to agree about Fenris, big surprise ^_^ I could never rivalmance him because it just seems like a volatile relationship and Fenris does not seem to heal from that relationship, whereas with the friendmance he does (even if this is possibly all in my head).

I've friendmanced Anders several times and that was fun, but I played carefree Hawke's for those, with Anders being the steady one in the relationship. I missed having Fenris to take care of lol

Isabela friendmance is my second favorite; I felt like she and Hawke fell accidentally in love, and she just kept kidding herself that this was meaningless, but the whole time my Hawke was just smiling, like, Oh, Bela, you just keep telling yourself it's just sex, tee-hee :P

That said I hope Cullen is neither like Fenris nor Anders. Fenris was broken and needy, which worked for him but I would hate to see for Cullen. And Anders was passionate and possessive, which again worked for him, but I feel would be odd for Cullen.

I see Cullen as being a very restrained lover, very courteous towards the PC, holding back for as long as possible, etc.

I could totally see him being a bit distant to begin with, not wanting to let himself fall for the protagonist but finding himself unable to control that aspect of himself. I'd love to see his actions/reactions give away his inner feelings for the protagonist that he'd be desperately trying to surpress.

It could be quite interesting to see a man that has spent the past 10 years keeping a tight grip on his emotions who has pretty much trained himself to stay in control of his thoughts and feelings, finally find something/someone to whom he can no longer keep his feelings and desires in check. Hell, even though it was no secret that he liked Amell/Surana, he still managed to control his desires and not act on them, so to watch him struggle and eventually give in, in DA3 would make a pretty interesting romance arc, especially mixed in with all the other potential inner turmoil he may have.

12 and 10 is too much.

Maybe?: Cassandra, Cullen, Morrigan, Stroud, Sera, Iron Bull, Merril and DLC Character.
