as Lola said, it's Fade concept art. This particular version was the signed print that came with the special edition of WoT. The red things are called the spirits or souls or whatever of sleeping folk in another picture in WoT.

Oh.  that flat-top hair is what would be a deal breaker for me. I've seen some of these. Just not trident guy and elf girl. God, I hope he's not Dorian. The description of him (thanx R2) sounds like someone I'd rom. Fingers crossed.

This is gonna sound weird, but I'm wondering if trident guy is actually trident girl. He looks very... womanly, aside from that mustache. Perhaps it's not facial hair at all and it's just the tiny picture skewing things. Kinda like how the female protagonist looks like a witch.

Oh good! I'm not the only one, I find a lot of the concept art, even the stuff I've seen from DA2, looks really stocky and bulky, even when they are not supposed to be dwarves. I also find the facial features to be made up of pretty harsh angles, but that's just my opinion.

See, the facial hair is the exact same colour as the thing on his shoulder... it could be a spiky bit of armour covering his/her face and the flat top could actually be that low hanging ponytail thing like Aveline had.

Of course, here... Cullen still looks lovely! (Sorry, I'm contractually required to mention that... Ahem)

It's probably just his manly, manly chisled jaw... I hope. But to me it looks like one of those poofy half beards at that size.

Lol, Gasp! Naughty, cheeky man!
I like the legs, even the fur stole (sp?) but the swishy bits of fabric across the chest? Pass.  
My protag would be trying to take those off whether we were in a relationship or not.

Have you noticed that the male protagonist's outfit has the sunburst insignia on it, but the females doesn't. The female version looks more like a uniform.
